Love the Omni!
The location was perfect for what we were visiting for. We went to an NFL game and we were able to walk to the stadium from the hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The valet staff was very helpful and friendly and willing to lend an extra hand. The only down side to the hotel was that it is $30 a night to park. Also, I purchased food to-go from a sports bar that is attached to the hotel and received food poisoning which ruined the whole last night in Atlanta. My husband ended up ordering room service (chicken soup and two orders of hot tea) and the bill came out to $28. All-in-all, the Omni Hotel is wonderful and I will be returning whenever I am back in Atlanta. I just will not be eating at the same facility :)

Fabulous hotel!
Excellent hotel! We got a corner room on the south tower with a floor to ceiling window overlooking Centennial Olympic Park, World of Coca Cola, etc... Great skyline view!!!! There is no fridge or microwave in the room but plenty of fast food and restaurant choices in the hotel food court. No hair dryer in the room but not a biggie since I always travel with my trusty super blower. Overall an awesome experience. The hotel is expensive but worth every penny. The CNN tour was great. Great location walking distance to many restaurants (Hard Rock Cafe - awesome!) and attractions. I stayed there for three nights and didn't take out the car once.

Great Atlanta Location
Perfect place to staff if you are visiting Philips Arena. You don't even have to go outside.....just walk through CNN and you are there. Just don't like it when hotels push the prices up for special events just because they can.

Not worth $$ but clos to Phillips arena
The hotel is nothin special and I felt like I was in Vegas the way they nickle and dime you... Valet parking 30 bucks a night ... Wifi costs extra ... Want a bottle of water that's six bucks... Also the tv didn't even have MtV and only had like 20 channels... Wouldn't stay here again because there seems to be a good number of hotels within walking distance to the arena..

Great access to georgia dome
Great hotel for the price. Easy access to georgia dome and downtown. My husband and I stayed the night here after the supercross. They allowed us to check in early at 11:30 am before the rest of the supercross arrived. Room was super nice with a great view of downtown. The only downfall was the bed was a little hard, but we still had a great night sleep. Hotel was quiet, too.

Trade Show Road Warrior
Great hotel for trade shows
I stayed at the Omni during a trade show at the GWCC. It's the perfect location if you're doing anything at Philips Arena, the Georgia Dome, or the GWCC (though it's a bit of a hike to building C!). The hotel itself is lovely, the bar in the lobby and the food I got from room service were both reasonably priced and delicious, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was large and clean and seemed recently updated, and the bathroom was gorgeous. Big tub, curved shower curtain, and really nice toiletries. My only complaints? 1. I really wish their pool was inside. One of my favorite travel perks is being able to enjoy the hotel pool, but temps in the 60's are a little too chilly for me to enjoy an outdoor pool, even if it IS heated. 2. I sent laundry out to be washed, and clearly indicated that I wanted them laundered instead of dry-cleaned. They chose to dry clean them instead, and it cost me an additional $10 over what I expected to pay.

If you're there for an extended time and need laundry done, skip the ridiculously priced hotel laundry service. The gift shop in the hotel sells 1-time use packs of laundry soap. I ended up hand washing some clothes in the tub and letting them air dry overnight for just $3.

Central Location
We chose this hotel because it was a central location to everything that we planned to do that weekend. Everything was in walking distance so it was very convenient. The only complaint I have is that it took forever to check in. They only had two people working at the desk and there was a convention in town, so it seemed to me that they should have had more people working to move the line quicker. The line just kept getting longer and longer and was very inconvenient to everyone passing through the lobby.
