What you expect, you get
Very helpful staff. Clean room. Good bed. Continental breakfast. Since that is what I wanted, and since I was not looking for a lot of frills, I got what I expected.

I really enjoyed my visit to Atlanta. I had read reviews about the hotel and was kind of nervous about whether I made the right decision to stay there. But the area and hotel itself was not bad. I travelled with a group of girls. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable at the hotel. There is a strip club across the street and a couple of bars around there, but I was never awakened by the noise from there establishments. The staff at the hotel were very helpful as well. I really enjoyed myself.

Short drive from hotel
The nightlife in Atlanta has something for everybody. The hotel is not directly located in the Buckhead area, but it was only minutes away. It was also a short drive to the downtown area as well.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good continental breakfast. I had no trouble with internet or iron. And for those with food, fridge was cold and microwave available. Atlanta downtown is very close- Chris Ruth steakhouse = 12 minutes. So for the price is was great! For negatives I would say room was small for a single bed, older (but clean), and (getting detailed here)their shampoo/soaps were below par, but for the price and with stores nearby that is easily remedied.

New Years Eve Trip
The three of us visited Atlanta in order to celebrate New Years. The room was clean and orderly, and the location was perfect. We were always less than 10-15 minutes away from downtown, Lennox, the Velvet Room, etc. For the pay, this room was above and beyond. The Pink Pony (strip club) was also across the street. Nonetheless, it was intended for individuals coming to explore night life. The free parking, internet, and continental breakfast (while small) all worked out to our benefit. I would easily rebook a room at this hotel again.

Great Choice for the Price
I arrived and the Front Desk was extremely courteous and also had brought an iron to borrow..Would have liked to have it in a closet but rooms did not allow for this...I had great service, the room was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good. As I was checking out was greeted with John at front desk and had the spread for breakfast as I was ready to check out and had a very friendly exchange concerning recent weather changes and News...I did not experience any issues at all....My room and the hotel is a great choice for my next visit to Atlanta. I slept well and my room was far away in the end of hallway and I slept like a baby each night. Will recommend the hotel to many others as a great choice in the vicinity of Buckhead.

Long walk from hotel
If you are interested in walking toward Kroger, Taco Bell, Wendys it is a long hike...I went to Kroger and bought a few things and came back and it took me 2hrs and 45 minutes by the time I was in my room. If you use Marta bus or have your car. They are very close.

Microtel Inn & Suites Atlanta (Buckhead
The hotel was a very good value. It's location was very convenient to the dining and shopping as well as being a short drive to our meeting in downtown Atlanta. Even though the reservations had been made for over a month in advance there was no record of them when we arrived. The hotel had to contact [...] in order to have them fax the reservation to them. It took a couple of faxes before [...] got it right.

Great location for the price
Hotel was centrally located to restaurants and entertainment. Also, was able to take MARTA to downtown that was several blocks from hotel. Great stay for the $$$$
