Staff

The staff were very professional and very fun to talk to. The gentleman at the information desk had a very good knowledge of the things that we came to Atlanta for as far as nightlife goes and told us everything we needed to know. Very pleased.

Just wow

I was a bit nervous going to this hotel due to the mixed reviews on this site, but I am more than glad that I did. My partner and I went to Atlanta on a much needed vacation and this hotel made sure that our vacation went as good as they could help. Very helpful and polite staff. They allowed us to check in at around 8:30 in the morning because they had a clean room already. The sign-in was very quick and we were settled in in no time. The room was very clean and nice. We stayed on an upper level so we had a nice view from our balcony. I had read online that the rooms were outdated; in reality, the only "outdated" section of the room was the TV was projection screen. Another potential "problem" in the room was that one of the bathroom lights was out. However, the bed was comfortable, the room had a nice, cozy feeling, the internet was quite quick(especially with it being complimentary), and they provided plenty of towels and such for our use. The free breakfast was impressive. They offered a wide selection of foods on their buffet which included eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, and hummus. The parking was a little steep in my opinion but wasn't expensive enough to keep me from coming back to this hotel. They have won my business coming back anytime we visit Atlanta.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

A few blocks from the hotel, there's a restaurant called "The Vortex." This place features good burgers and drinks in a unique atmosphere. Just don't use your cell phone while you are in there!
