Affordable Atlanta hotel offers free breakfast
The La Quinta Inn Atlanta/Lenox Buckhead hotel is a clean, affordable and pleasant hotel in a suburban part of the city, not far from Atlanta's trendiest areas. It's located far enough from the Buckhead night club scene to provide a quiet, restful atmosphere, but close enough to Atlanta's interstates and major transportation hubs to make everything the city has to offer accessible. La Quinta - Buckhead is clean and in a good location
The hotel itself was average. Everything was clean. The location is right off of a major freeway which makes getting around the city pretty easy. Also it is located pretty close to a lot of places to eat and drink.

No fridge
The soonest you open the door you think you walked into the bathroom, because what you see is the sink on the right and on the left behind closed door the shower/bath and toilet. Room did not have a fridge or microwave. The room was clean and smelled clean as well. Bed was comftable.

The worst LaQuinta ever
When I pulled up I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. The front of the hotel faces a retaining wall for the interstate. The lobby was clean but sparse. The first room I was given had a sickening odor of cigarette smoke and body odor. the second and third room was also bad. I told the front desk I could not stay and asked to get me into another LaQuinta nearby. She had no direct access to reservations so began calling around hotel to hotel. I asked if she had a guest computer so I could do this on line, but they don't have one. I finally called the LaQuinta on Paces Ferry and were very gracious. Don't ever check in cause you may not check out!

GREAT BIRTHDAY OVERNIGHTER
This was close to all the things we wanted to see and do. Like it that it is close to Marta transportation.

ATL Traveler
Int Access NOT in all rooms
I mentioned to the hotel staff, on two occassions, that the wireless internet access signal was slim to none, and they weren't concered, the only response was, "Just come downstairs, it works in the lobby." FREE High-Speed Internet Access in ALL rooms was the main selling point, so I was very annoyed. Also, the rooms reek of Febreeze - due to the pets I guess. Great location and fee parking, if you are on a tight budget and can forego the things I mentioned, go for it. Otherwise, spend more money for consistent int access in your room and a no pets hotel.

We were pleased with our room at La Quinta. Spacious and clean is always appreciated. The clerks and employees were so nice and helpful, the parking lot had security, and the location was close to friends and family.

LaQuinta es muy bueno !
Have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Each previous stay brought some new form of grief, ranging from room not being made up to half of the light bulbs being burned out. I continue to stay here because of its location and the easy trip to "down town". Something must have happened because everything was as it should be. Everything worked, the room was clean and made up when we arrived from work. All together a much improved experience as compared to previous visits.
