An elegant Atlanta hotel with all the necessary amenities
The JW Marriott Hotel Buckhead Atlanta knows how to stand out, even in a neighborhood packed with beautiful hotels. The pyramid-shaped, lit-up fountain in front of the entrance, the marble-floored lobby and the crystal chandelier over the sitting area all help guests feel like they’ve come to a truly classic hotel. The luxurious feeling continues into the 367 guest rooms and four suites, which have plush comfortable furnishings. The bathrooms include a separate tub and shower, with an invigorating shower spray.

Great location in Buckhead next to all the shops
I had a great stay at this hotel. It is definitely a 4-star hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. Everything in the room and hotel looked very modern as well. We were placed on the 23rd floor, which had a great view of the city, but we were able to slightly hear the people in the room next to us. In the morning we wanted to go for a nice run outside, but the hotel is located off of a very busy road, so there really is no way to run outdoors. Luckily we checked out the gym and it was more than you would expect from a hotel gym. There were about 6 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 3 bikes, a ton of weight machines, sauna, and swimming pool. Another great benefit is that checkout is late at 12 noon. Unfortunately parking is $20/night, which I would expect from a big city hotel, but not somewhere in Atlanta where parking is plentiful. Other than that, I would definitely come back here again.

Great place to stay in a great area for a get away. Location is great, transportation on the Marta is easy, but sometimes busy. Fun place to experience big city life.

Nice Hotel, staff did not keep it quiet
Loud music on my floor in the middle of the night woke me up and once that was stopped, apparently some college kids came in at 4:00 AM yelling and banging all the doors. Desk clerk said the hotel allowed four students per room, a big mistake.

Two Days In Atlanta
The JW Marriott was undergoing renovation this trip. As always, the staff was curtious and helpful. The room was well furnished and clean. My only complaint was the makeshift diningroom. Neither of my two breakfasts there were satisfactory. The kitchen was well off point, with scrambled eggs like cement and gross, greasy meats. Table service was polite, but very disorganized. Otherwise, even with their difficulties this trip, I will stay there again.

The hotel is in a good location. It is not only attached to the mall, but also within walking distance to several good restaurants. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfy.
