I enjoyed my stay here. Customer service was excellent. Valet made sure that your car was pulled up right away. This hotel is ... in the heart of buckhead........just walking distance from the mall (ladies). I look forward to visiting again.

This tip is useful in many hotels, but especially so at the Intercon Buckhead -- since dining and bar/lounge facilities inside the hotel are great (and there is little else in nearby walking distance). If a friend or associate drives to visit you at the hotel, and you have food or drink at one of the hotel venues, be sure to have their valet parking receipt validated when you pay or sign for the food. It may save them a chunk of change! In our case, we avoided a significant charge for their parking, two different times.

This is one of the best family getaways we've had. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. They made us feel right at home ... as soon as we arrived. The rooms were spacious and inviting. The hotel is conveniently located close to a MARTA station if you need to go downtown for any events. Lenox Square is just a short walk as well! Definitely a first class hotel!!!

A well-connected local friend recommended the Buckhead area as the "Beverly Hills" of Atlanta. It certainly is upscale, and ... the Intercon is a great spot with fine amenities and helpful staff -- but don't expect much to be happening in the neighborhood! (Perhaps that *is* like Beverly Hills ;-) The hotel is on a major thoroughfare, and a MARTA station is just across the block, so it's easy to pop downtown. This is lucky, because by nine pm on a weekend summer night, there are no people or local activities outside or near the hotel. Yes, the area is quite built-up, with many new offices and other high-end hotels, but there's nothing "organic" about the vicinity. It's a peculiar sensation to step out of a 20-story hotel at eight am Sunday morning, and walk for several blocks without seeing a person or even a *car* passing by. Friday nights (in August, 2009 at least) a fine jazz pianist is playing in the lobby / bar area. You won't mind staying in :-)

this was an awesome experience. i just needed some time away from real life with my signigicant other and between the ... skyline and the ambiance of the hotel room...i kept looking out the window looking for an ocean. it was sooo lovely, so very lovely!!!

everything about the Atlanta Intercontinental Buckhead was great. the staff was very friendly. the rooms were clean and ... spacious. the fitness center, which i used daily was excellent....and the pool was HUGE.

easy walk to either phipps plaza or lennox..a shoppers paradise! and if you buy too much stuff to walk back with the hotel has a driver that will pick you up!!!

New, clean beautiful hotel with the most comfortable/luxurious beds. We were there for a wedding at the hotel and it was 1st ... class as well. I didn't use the pool or fitness center so I can't comment on that.

If you are traveling by air, Marta is located underneath baggage claim and one block from the hotel. Much faster and more convenient than the traffic in Atlanta.

A great location to explore Buckhead. Friendly,helpful staff. We loved the Saturday night jazz trio. Upscale dining ... available in hotel. Valet parking is expensive--but worth the cost.

I had a great time at this hotel. My room was beautiful (especially the bathroom). I loved the gift shop... was able to buy ... last minute jewelry and pashmina for the wedding I was attending. Great location right by the train.. especially convenient for taking train to & from the airport. Very friendly staff. Fun bar scene with a jazz band on the Friday night I was there. Great hotel!

well located with several really good dining options nearby. Room was very adequate---big enough but not overly ... large----great bathroom/shower---parking was easy in garage--we self parked. My wife liked the cleanliness and beb/bath linens.

Me and my family went for our 19th wedding anniversary and absolutly loved it ...the hotel was fantastic and the staff could ... not have been nicer or more helpful and they gave us special treatment.....will go back again and location was perfect and they also had a free driver to take you anywhere you wanted to fo.

From the moment we arrived until our departure the staff could not have been nicer. Our room was well equiped and ... comfortable. The bath room was very luxurious with a soaking tub and seperate shower. The hotels offers shuttle service to the local shopping areas which saved us hving to get out in traffic. I would highly recommend this establishment.
