Elegant and comfortable

Intercontinental Buckhead upholds the quality of their chain. Elegance without exorbitant charges. Beautiful bathroom, bed that embraces you, polite service, hopping bar. Parking is expensive--NY and LA level. But that's about the only complaint. (Except for traffic in Atlanta.)

Not a 5 Star experience

After reading some of the positive reviews about the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta, and seeing it good location. I decided to book myour families stay there. Unfortunately during your stay we experienced the following dirty linens, no hot water, an attempt to increase our self parking fee (good thing at check-in I have confirmed the pricing with the front desk agent. Had not I would have been over charged.) We returned from our day out around 9pm only to find I room had not been serviced by housekeeping. The hotel staff offer us free breakfast and wavied the parking fee to help ease the discomforts we experience. But I would have rather paid for the properly executed 5 Star experience. Should I find myself back in the Atlanta area.... I would lodge elsewhere.

It's the LITTLE things that count BIG

The 1st thing that sticks out to me is ATTENTION and COURTESY of the hotel staff. Ready and happy to satisfy whatever inquiry, request you might have... fantastic care, really. The hotel is nicely situated in Buckhead area with great restaurants in walking distance. Actually... you don't even need to leave the hotel, whatever your taste dubs are craving, it's here! Delicious eats can be found morning to night, ranging from eggs Benedict to salumi & cheese boards to "down south" hearty fare. The hotel is incredibly clean, and the rooms have that "old world" charm. Drawback: pool is NOT heated, or at least it's not as warm as would make me want to get in. There is no sauna or steam room, but the workout facility at least has some equipment. Will most certainly return and say here again.

Pretty happy...would use again.

This hotel was quite nice. Some of the most polite staff I've been in contact with. The room was very nice in appearance. Only negatives were that there's no free internet (wired or wireless). When you can go to the local Subway and get free internet, a hotel of this caliber sound provide it too; especially being in the business district. Other negative was that the fridge in the room is stocked with food/drinks that are WAY overpriced. But there's no room for your own drinks to keep cold. I'm not going to pay $7 for a water, but I want a place to put some of my own drinks. Would much rather have a regular fridge like the cheap hotels offer. Besides this items, I was very happy and would certainly use this hotel again in the future.

Nice & Peaceful getaway

I really enjoyed my stay. I didn't think $22 for parking was cool but the hotel itself was awesome and the staff was nice and friendly.

Great Staff

This hotel is a luxury property in a terrific location but so what... there are plenty of those. What sets this hotel a notch above is the friendliness, helpfulness, knowledge, polite nature of the staff. Proper training shows thru.

Was in buckhead for 1 night and need a place to stay that was nice and centrally located. THis fit the bill. The rooms were amazing. The upgraded me to a nicer room just by asking and were all very courteous. They even have a complimentary shuttle to take you around as needed within 2 miles.

Vacation

My visit marked the first time in Atlanta. The location worked well for me; the distance to the airport and easy access to my relatives to come see me. The restaurant staff was very cordial; in fact, Ann recommended several places to visit and the grits (which were excellent). I loved the tub in my room; it meant a lot to be able to stretch and relax after a long day. I chose the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta from reading about it on the internet. I believe I made an excellent choice.
