hotel had a great rate, but what they forget to tell you is you have to also pay 27 dollars to park your car. to me that is ... something the hotel should validate if you are staying there. oh and all they manage to have is king beds in hadicapped rooms,,,so that sucked having a 2 year old with all switches at his level.

great location for the price
Jill Dec 30, 2009
Great hotel for the discounted rate. Beautiful lobby, clean room, great view. Tiny bathroom. The balcony was only 6 inches ... deep, so there was no "going out on the balcony". View was wonderful, but would have been better if we could have used the balcony. Valet parking only, for $27/day, no self parking. No smoking inside the hotel, even in the bar area. Neighboring rooms were very noisy, we heard toilets flushing at all hours and what sounded like construction going on although we didn't see any. The room had a wireless keyboard to use with the free internet service through the TV. However, the keyboard had dead batteries and the battery cover was glued on. I alerted the front desk, who said they would send a tech up, but no tech ever showed. So, no free internet for us! I would have gladly supplied and changed the batteries myself, but the cover was glued on! Concierge was very helpful with directions and suggestions.

SEC Championship game
Bama Fan Dec 11, 2009
The overall experience was TERRIBLE! Our room was on the 2nd floor, approximately 50 feet from the SEC Legends dinner. The ... dinner/party went on until nearly 3:00 a.m. and was very loud. Room service promised our salads would be delivered in 45 minutes - after 1 1/2 hours and two phone calls, our Caesar salads were finally delivered. We paid a $27 fee for our car to be parked at an off-site garage. After the game, we gave the valet our slip and he told us we needed the hotel receipt showing we had paid for parking. The slip was in the car with our luggage. We had to wait in line at the hotel desk for over half an hour to get a copy of the receipt in order to get our car. I will never use this hotel again.

Friendly and helpful staff at check-in. The rooms in the Radius tower are pie shaped and small, but they've made good use of ... the interesting space. Certainly a one or two person room. The concierge could have been a bit more assertive about dinner recommendations -- the last night I went to one that she'd listed on the first night, and it was far and away the best meal I had (Ray's in the City). Smooth and easy check-out. The airport shuttle pulls right into the drive (the concierge said it was 30 minutes to the airport, but it's more like 50).

Arrived to room with no lights... was quickly addressed... then upon aiming to shower, discovered there was no water above a ... certain floor... got dressed and changed rooms... returned after a long day to very loud neighbors... that too was addressed... it's a nice place to stay (although the part of town was rather sleepy at night)... just was an off day.

WE HAD A CONFERENCE AT PHILLIPS ARENA FOR WOMEN OF FAITH. THE LOCATION AND HOTEL WAS PERFECT. THE CONNECTION TO THE PEACHTREE ... CENTER MALL AND MARTA WAS THE BEST PART. IT WAS RAINING WHILE WE WERE THERE, SO WE WERE ABLE TO TRAVEL BY MARTA TO ARENA AND ABLE TO DO A LITTLE SHOPPING AND EATING IN BETWEEN CONFERENCE. ALL THE WOMEN IN MY GROUP WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE HOTEL AND ACCOMODATIONS.
