Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown

Fantastic hotel. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great location.

On business trips it's very important to be at a hotel that provides 24hr dining. As well as transportation to and from the airport. Hyatt Place didn't have the 24hr dining nor did they have airport transportation.I was upset at first, because I thought I was staying at the main Hyatt, [...]The main hotel had rates that were $15 a night cheaper, please give cleartiy next time on which Hyatt you are speaking about.

We were there to attend an Atlanta Braves baseball game. The room is poorly laid out. Lots of wasted space, and TINY bathroom. I could have taken a shower while sitting on the toilet. The curtains in the room were so sheer I didn't dare undress in the room. Had to go into the TINY bathroom. The morning sun woke me up way too early. They need room darkening curtains on the windows. I'll never stay at that hotel again!

This hotel deserves 5 stars, it was the PERFECT experience...great service, great staff, great room, great linens, great FREE shuttle, great FREE continental breakfast, SUPER CLEAN, very modern, very quiet...just fabulous. It breaks my heart to give it 3 stars, but I cannot give more than that based on the overwhelming homeless problem on the block where the hotel is located. There is a wrought iron fence around the place, but they will call through the fence, shake their cups at you, and become aggressive and nasty if you turn them down. You cannot even go to Max Lager's Restaurant 100 feet up the street without being harassed coming and going. I really hope they get this under control because the hotel itself is wonderful.

We requested and received a handicapped accessible room which doesn't always happen in many hotels. The room was large and easy for a wheelchair to move about including into the bathroom with a roll in shower. Fluorescent lights in all fixtures were energy efficient, but dim. The hot water could have definitely been a bit hotter. The 'fitness center' consisted of four machines, but all good quality. A generous basic breakfast is included with a cook to order option at an additional cost. The downtown location is close to many attractions. All in all, a good experience especially for the price!

The hotel was located in the heart of the Atlanta business district which allowed easy walking access to the entire area. I was able to park the car and walk to everything, which meant that I didn't have to take part in the Atlanta rush hour traffic. The hotel is also located only about 5 blocks from Pemberton Place and Olympic Park which is home to such attractions as the Georgia Aquarium, Coca-Cola Building, CNN Center, Philips Arena, Georgia Dome, and many other attractions. There was a shopping mall 3 blocks away and a vast variety of restaurants. This is by far the perfect place to stay whether on business or vacation!

Good location, reasonable price, and nice breakfast.

well it was a last minute plan that evening i booked the hotel. It was difficult to find the hotel and i actually ended up at the 3300 Hyatt address instead of 330 one i was supposed to be at. The lady in the front who checked me was rude and made me even irritated with already such a rough day. overall the room was okay. tiny bathroom and the layout of the room was just weird. The bed was not that bad because i passed out on it when I got to the room anyway. My window view was the view of air conditioning units. I wish there was a balcony or patio to just sit outside on.

The hotel was a nice place to stay in while attending a training in Downtown Atlanta. The staff was exceptionally helpful and nice during my stay. I was thoroughly pleased that I was able to park my car in the hotel's gated parking lot and used the complimentary hotel's shuttle service to get to and from my training. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast the hotel offered. It was not the typical continental breakfast. The breakfast items they served were fresh and fufilling. The staff was also helpful in offering suggestions of restaurants to go to for lunch. The bed in my room was very comfortable, and I slept so well in it. On the other hand, the room I stayed in smelled slightly like smoke. I was not pleased also to have a small sliding window in the bathroom by the shower. I did not understand the purpose of the window since I was on the 10th floor. Overall, the hotel was a nice hotel to stay in especially as a single female traveling for business.
