Downtown Atlanta hotel near city’s top attractions
In terms of location or service, the Hyatt Place Atlanta Downtown hotel couldn’t do more to be convenient for tourists and business travelers alike. The hotel is just steps from some of Atlanta’s top attractions, including the World of Coca Cola and Georgia Aquarium. At the same time, the access to nearby public transportation, a complimentary shuttle and on-site parking add to the convenience. The hotel has a variety of ready-made foods and beverages. Great hotel in general
This was a very nice hotel but I didn't realize that we were going to have to pay over $20 a day for parking. The hotel was clean but the window in the bathroom had mold growing in the corners. It was very close to everything and the staff were very friendly and very helpful. All questions were answered pleasantly.

Overall stay was very nice and pleasant. The only bad part of the stay is that the walls are very thin, I could hear other guest opening and closing their doors all night and sometimes it would cause my door to rattle as if someone was knocking on the door, even got up once during the night to answer the door but it was someone next door coming in.

Nice place to stay
My trip to Atlanta was mainly for my daughter. I decided that we needed to stay close to all the attractions that we wanted to see. This was a great choice it is less that 15 minutes from everything and that is walking. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beds are extremely comfy which is great after you have been walking all day!

Downtown Atlanta GA
We were there to attend an Atlanta Braves baseball game. The room is poorly laid out. Lots of wasted space, and TINY bathroom. I could have taken a shower while sitting on the toilet. The curtains in the room were so sheer I didn't dare undress in the room. Had to go into the TINY bathroom. The morning sun woke me up way too early. They need room darkening curtains on the windows. I'll never stay at that hotel again!

Eat next door at the pub brewery. You won't want to drive or walk any where else in downtown Atlanta. Ghetto! You certainly don't feel safe outside the hotel in this area.

Good Accessible Room
We requested and received a handicapped accessible room which doesn't always happen in many hotels. The room was large and easy for a wheelchair to move about including into the bathroom with a roll in shower. Fluorescent lights in all fixtures were energy efficient, but dim. The hot water could have definitely been a bit hotter. The 'fitness center' consisted of four machines, but all good quality. A generous basic breakfast is included with a cook to order option at an additional cost. The downtown location is close to many attractions. All in all, a good experience especially for the price!
