One night stay

In town visiting friends for the weekend and needed to stay one night. The room was clean but small. The bathroom carried Aveda products but was tiny. The walls were very thin and the parking was $18. Probably would not stay there again with so many other options around - hopefully for a little more money you would get a little more room with a little more privacy.

Pleasant, relaxing visit

Very helpful staff. Good directions to and from hotel. Good tips about area restaurants without being so positive that they sounded like Chamber of Commerce nonsense.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Alon's Bakery on Highlands Avenue is worth the short drive. Great coffee without the chain taste, and wonderful pastries.

comfortable little hotel in great spot

Great location very near the Fox Theater (almost right across the street). Was at the Hotel Indigo for a nearby conference. Room was small with small bathroom, but was very nicely arranged with a desk, a decent chair, free Wi-Fi, and a little coffee maker. Everything was clean and the room was very quiet at night. The location was great - easy walk to good food at Papi's Cuban Grill on Ponce de Leon Avenue. About a two mile walk southeast to the Martin Luther King Historic site for important history and very moving display. Georgia Tech about a mile walk to the northwest. Couldn't ask for more.

Great location and very friendly

My sons and I came to Atlanta for the first time to see a weekend of Braves baseball. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions, tips on where to go etc. [...] Night staff when we returned were the same. Neighborhood had very nice restaurants and bars, the subway MARTA is very close. In the morning Peachtree Street is very quiet and it was enjoyable to sit outside at the tables on the front veranda with coffee and pastries from the hotel. A great experience that we plan on repeating again.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Take the Marta to Turner Field for the games and avoid the traffic and the parking. Train goes to Five Points Station and from there a shuttle bus takes you to the front door of the stadium. Aquarium, World of Coke and other attractions are very conveniently located along the MARTA line.

Couple of hassles, but liked the Hotel.

One thing I noticed that made the Hotel pop out to me in the description was DVD player availability. Turned out there were none in the rooms. Inquired with evening front desk employee who seemed slightly put off that I suggested that this would be a feature. Perhaps snooty would be the best description of this individual. Room was nice, but if you are slightly claustrophobic, the bathroom inside the room might not work for you. It's very small. Was about to turn in for the night, went to adjust the AC temp when I heard a "pop" and the thermostat controller died. Called front desk, the night employee was by far the friendliest I encountered and had me in another room within 5 minutes... now that's service. Apologized numerous times for my inconvenience, without seeming condescending or fake. For what you get with the "breakfast ticket" I wouldn't bother. Danish, yoghurt juice and coffee. Tasstefully fun decorated rooms, great hardwood floors, comfortable beds, awesome pillows. $18 to park in the garage shared with the Hotel next door. Ehhh jury still out on that one, but hey I digress.

Decorated beautifully, great food. A little quirky, but that is the charm.

Good experience all around

The hotel was extremely relaxed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice! The only complaint I would have is that the shower was very spacious, but the space for the toilet and sink was extremely small. The best thing about this hotel is it's extremely convenient location in midtown. Plenty of restaurants all around, and the MARTA station is extremely close, which allows access to where you'd like to go, particularly as a tourist.
