We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff was wonderful. Any problem we had was taken care of immediately (lost key). The suite was large and well appointed. I've stayed at Homewood before and would go back again. We were close to the expressways but in a quasi residential neighborhood - an apartment building on one side and an office building on the other. Being able to walk to the Landmark Diner was a plus (what desserts!). We were able to go on numerous hikes and only travel 20-30 minutes from the hotel. No traffic problems at all. Stephen Stills rocked!

The Landmark Diner had great food. Greek was a specialty, but everything we ate there was great and enough for two meals - we ate in one night with the leftovers.

Clean, Friendly Staff, Good Food, Comfortable Bed, Good Shower
Stayed here for Sept 11-15th for GlassBuild downtown in a two bedroom suite with livingroom 4 double beds not queens. The hotel was great. Clean, plenty of free parking, comfortable enough beds could have been a little softer, good water pressure for shower, the free breakfast & dinners M-Th were good, everything was great for the price. Shuttle was timely and avail for trips to Marta station, easy ride on Marta to downtown conference dome area took less than 20 minutes. Great restaurants around hotel, loved Buckhead Diner ask to be in Brian Boyds section incredible waiter great bar drinks and prices very upscale food, Landmark Diner great greek homemade food but don't drink alcohol there way over priced and for sushi huge selection at Rusan's Milton: Buckhead Tower and fair prices. Krogers, Target and Home Depot all near by. Easily found a nice place near Target to get my nails done on Sunday. Overall a great quiet safe place to stay. They have a very small pool.

Rooms were converted to Non-smoking, but were still reeking of smoke. Could not convert to Non-Smoking, no rooms available. We had three rooms, some were nicer than others. Would I stay there again? Maybe, if I could be assured of a Non-Smoking room. Location is superb, and price of room much less than average for area.

Good location, good breakfast, friendly
This was a trip to visit our son who lives in Buckhead literally blocks away. A lovely area for shops and dining. So much to do in Atlanta from concerts to exhibits.

Great deal in Buckhead
Stayed in Buckhead for a weekend event in Atlanta, and the Homewood Suites was great. Staff was friendly at check-in and there were no problems with the room. Can't beat it on price in that area, and the only way you can get a better location is to pay 2-3x the price for the Intercontinental or W.

July 19th Atlanta
Overall pleased. Late check in. Room should have been available by 3 and I had to wait until 3:30. Seemed to be a disconnect with the front desk attendant and the housekeeping personal. Three other rooms were also late with checking in. Breakfast was very busy and only one attendant. Most food/beverage items were out and not replenished. The attendant could have used more assistance. Good location and clean.

The room was more like an apartment. It had 2 rooms, 2 TV's, Shower over the tub; Microwave, Refrigerator, etc. Window looked out over the pool area; Great complimentary breakfast each moring. It was just great. Hotel personnel very friendly and very, very helpful. I would like to go back.

family friendly value
We had a great hands-off stay. The rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable (although less so, the fold out for our son). If you are concerned about service, however, I cannnot recommend it. One day our room was not made up at all; the shuttle bus was entirely unreliable and the front desk, though courteous, was not terribly helpful.
