Close to Turner Field
On a busy Saturday this hotel had only one front desk associate on staff. The beds were stiff as a board and the pillows made you feel as if you were sitting up. It is in a great location, only if you are planning on attending a Braves game at Turner Field. Traffic is hectic during game days. The Breakfast buffet was $22 a person and they would not allow us to bring anything up to our room. The restaurant staff was rude.

Ok
We reserved a room here for the night of a Braves game, since the hotel is about two blocks from the stadium. We arrived at 3:30 and had to wait 30 minutes for a room to become available since customers from the previous night requested a late check-out. There were several families and couples waiting in the lobby for rooms to become available in "10-15 minutes". The employees were not communicating well with each other and kept giving away rooms another employee was trying to secure for a different customer. Once we were allowed to check-in, the room was clean. After we returned from the game, we requested extra towels and they never arrived. This hotel is ok for a one-night stay but they need to work on having rooms ready!

My Vacation
Friends and I traveled to Atlanta for Memorial weekend and we stayed at this hotel, and our stay there was not good at all. When we went to check in the lady at the front desk was really rude to us. Then we bypassed her actions and went upstairs to our room. Room service rarely showed up mpst of the days and we had to keep goin to the front desk and ask them to send someone up there to clean the room. The guys at the Bar were really nice to the hotel guests and always greeted us with smiles. I jus kno on my next trip to Atlanta, i will not be staying at this hotel.

Ehhh
Hotel was OK, but disappointing for the price. Many little details like: No comfortable chair in the room to sit and read, aerator broken on the sink so it splashed out of the sink on you, cheap plastic toilet seat that slide around when you sat on it, beds that were starting to show there age. Things I would expect at a Ramada or Comfort Inn, not at a $150/night hotel. Staff was friendly however, and it was close to Turner Field.

Bad location
The staff was nice and the room seemed clean, but the dirty room service glasses were in the hall for three days. The location was too far out to walk anywhere unless it was Turner Field. The restaurant and even the bar, were closed by 11:00 pm with nowhere else to go. The same was true at early breakfast time. Shuttle service was limited.

Matt in Tennessee
Holiday Inn Atlanta Capitol Conf. Ctr.
We stayed at this hotel during Wrestlemania 27 weekend in Atlanta. The location of the hotel was easy to get to, and convenient to downtown Atlanta. We were about 6 miles from everywhere we needed to be (Philips Arena, GA Dome, restaurants, Zoo, Aquarium, Turner Field is in walking distance too). The hotel was clean, with a friendly staff. The restaurant and bar in the hotel are better skipped, as there is a massive selection of great restaurants in the immediate area. If you love BBQ, you have to visit Daddy Dz BBQ Joynt. The only negatives I have, are the beds are a little uncomfortable, and the room key cards demagnetize very easily, which is a hassle when it's pouring rain and you need to get to the parking area.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
If you want to see Coca Cola World, the Aquarium, Zoo, CNN Center, invest in the Atlanta City Pass. It is a great money saver, and allows expedited entry to the Aquarium, and Zoo.

Convenient location, small room
Went to the Chick Fil A bowl game, which is why we stayed here. The room was clean with two queen beds. The bathroom was adequate. Over-all the room was pretty average. Parking was an addition of $18 per day, which I thought is ridiculous. The complimentary shuttle was free and, for the most part, readily available. The restaurant (we had breakfast) was good, but not great and pricey for what we got.

Near Town
The hotel was good. They require a credit card authorization, even though this was not laid out in the terms and conditions.
