Nice Hotel for the price

Shuttle service was very nice. Drivers were very friendly and nice to talk with. They were very helpful to me and my stay at the hotel. room was nice and a view of the Olympic torch. Nice exercise room also. One of the two computers were down the whole time I was there and the printer broken the last day. But well worth the time and money to stay there.

Great for Braves game

We enjoyed the location of the hotel which is within walking distance to the Braves ball field. We thought the breakfast was over priced. Our room had a wet carpet area and smelled funny. But we would probably stay there again.

Great for family

The Holiday Inn, was great. It is close to the Turner Field, we walked to the ball park. The room was very homey, had enough room for all three of us. We had a wonderful time there and we will be back soon.

Great location for Braves Fans

I expected more at this hotel. Though the room was clean and tidy, it was smelly. The only great thing was being able to walk to the stadium for the game.

Just Location

The Holiday Inn Select was convenient for our trip to the Atlanta Braves game. That was the only benefit to the hotel. Desk personnel were friendly and helpful, however hotel accommodations (room) were common, lacking anything to put this hotel above others. Parking was an additional charge, even for hotel guests. Parking for patrons of the Braves game was less expensive than parking for the hotel guests - in the same lot! Additionally, the breakfast buffet cost was exorbitant for the quality, selection, and service provided. There were no other restaurant options within walking distance.

My review of Holiday Inn Select ATLANTA CAPITOL CONFERENCE CTR

This is a decent place to stay especially if you intend to take in a baseball game at Turner Field, which is a couple of blocks away. I was surprised that there aren't more sports bars around the stadium. I would not recommend walking around alone. The shuttle service was good and the driver took us directly to the aquarium and the world of Coca Cola. The restaurant staff was understaffed the morning we had breakfast leading to some complaints from some customers. The waitress was very apologetic and I felt bad for her. But, when you need your coffee, you need your coffee!Overall, we had a good time and would come back to this hotel.

Staff is very accommodating

The location of this hotel was perfect for our visit to Turner Field to watch a ballgame. It was close to other attractions, many within walking distance. The hotel offers a free shuttle to many other locations in the area.

Very friendly

The Holiday Inn Select was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The Shuttle service at the hotel made our stay worthwhile because everywhere we went was within the 3 mile radius. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. A paper was received every morning. The Underground Atlanta, Auburn Street (MLK), Georgia Aquarium were all within the shuttle radius. We were also one block from the Atlanta Braves Baseball Stadium. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Perfect for baseball fans!

The Holiday Inn Select on Capitol Ave in Atlanta was very comfortable. I stayed in a single room and it was plenty big enough for me with a king-sized bed I could get lost in and a small seating area with a chair, foot stool, and a desk with chair. I especially liked the complimentary hotel shuttle that took you to places within 3 miles of the hotel. Three miles might not sound like much, but it brings you to everything you want to go to. One phone call and they come and pick you up when you want to go back to the hotel! The shuttle drivers were very nice and were sort of tour guides, too!

Parking Fees

We we very dissatisfied with the fact that we were guest at this hotel to go to the Braves game and we were charged to park there even though we were guest. That opened up their parking to people going to the game that were not staying there which I can see charging them but not to their hotel guest.
