Great stay!

The customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! Check-in was quick and easy and the room was very clean. The only thing that I did not like was that there was a charge for everything- internet, parking, breathing. Ok not breathing but you get the picture. Overall, a great experience.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

This hotel is very close to the arena, the aquarium and a variety of fastfood restaurants but because it's downtown you should have a GPS because of the many one-way streets. Pre-pay for parking to the arena if you're going to an even there.

It didnt go so well at first...

The over all stay at the Hilton was wonderful! I did enjoy myself after I was able to check in to my room. The only problem I had was with the overnight clerk. He was very rude and showed no concern to my situation that I was trying to explain. I called several times before my check-in time to make sure I was going to be able to check-in before my arrival time since I was driving from TX. When I arrived to the Hilton hotel the over night clerk greeted me but when I started to give him my information right off he said how I'm not able to check-in and the hotel had no avaiable rooms. His tone was very upsetting and he had an attitude. If I was told over the phone when I called that the time I was arriving to Atlanta would consider be to have another night and I would have to booked my room for another night, I would have done that. I cried because I'm didnt know what to do. It was my first time traveling alone. The over night clerk showed me no kind of empathy and repeatedly cut me off told me what I needed to do and what he wasnt going to do. He didn't even attempt to assist or direct me to another hotel. The guys who did valet were very helpful, kind, and friendly. I would stay at the Hilton again because I did enjoy myself but something needs to be done with the over night clerk. He needs to learn more customer service training. I work in the fleld so I know how things shouldve been done regardless if I was able to check in my room at that time or not. If his tone was different and he showed me empathy and if I had recieved the proper information the first time over the phone, then I probably wouldnt have cried.

Great stay,could improve signage

Trip was for a seminar in a neighboring hotel. Great sky bridge connecting hotels, but a bit of a maze. Up 2 flrs, thru lobby, up another 2 flrs, down 2 flrs to conference ctr. Front desk provided a map and good directions. Signage was hidden in hotels and hard to find, but was able to navigate with few hiccups. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Would have preferred clean sheets more often. In attempts to stay green, I felt like could have done a better job in providing options for frequency.

Expectations unfulfilled

I stayed at the Hilton Atlanta while I was visiting for a wedding (somewhere else). Check- in went smoothly. Upon entering the room and taking off my shoes, I got pricked in my foot by a needle that was stuck in the carpet. I went down to the check-in desk and requested the room be vacuumed that day but no one showed up. I also requested extra towels and a new shower head (the one in the shower was broken) and it was never done. For the money it costs, I would not stay there again.

Great family time!!!

My son and I went to the Braves/Phillies game. We also went to the world of Coke. We were in walking distance to the Coke museum and several other attactions. Places to eat close to the Hotel was an issue. There were none! We had to drive to get a sandwich. The hotel was great! Clean room! Great pool!
