Extended Stay Deluxe Atlanta - Perimeter

This property of Extended Stay Deluxe met the typical expectation of the Extended Stay chain : value for money service. The room was clean and so were the towels and sheets etc. Certain channels on the TV were not really clear but I was not really worried about that. The internet was great. The breakfast is stripped down but good: Bagels, Fresh Fruit , Muffin and coffee. The staff is courteous and generally tries to accomodate your requests. The hotel is pretty well connected to restaurants and shopping area. Overall the stay was good.

I guess you get what you pay for. The price was great but there was food/drink left in the fridge from the previous guest as well as "hair" on the toilet seat and lid. The room was not clean as there was food splatter on the counter. I requested to have the bathroom recleaned and I was given gloves and cleaner to do it myself. We checked in around 10:45pm and were not told the desk closed at 11pm. After getting settled in the room we tried to connect to the internet and could not. We called the front desk and no one answered. After walking to the desk we found the closed sign and to contact the night housekeeper/security person. The lady spoke no English and would not give us the password to log onto the internet without giving her cash. It seemed very fishy. I did not have exact change so I had to give her a $20 bill for a $5 internet fee. She said I could pick up my change tomorrow after the desk reopened. After speaking with the desk attendant the next morning this is apparently how they do this. It would have been nice if they had brought this up at check in or the evening person could have left a note for the desk attendant to charge our room the next morning. The "breakfast" was a muffin and orange. There were no snack machines on the property. Overall I would rather pay more money for a nicer property but we were limited since we were traveling with two dogs. However the hotel did not smell of animals nor could you tell they were pet friendly (i.e. no barking dogs or stains on the carpet). Bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

Hotel is in a great location. Primary reason that I stayed there. Price was good, but the hotel needs some tender loving care. There was a anvertisement newspaper laying in the hallway when I arrived on Monday. On Friday when I left it was still laying in the hallway.

Ad on Web Page said nothing about the office being closed after 23:00. Got there, could not even get in the second door, no response to the button, looked in window and saw a sign that read "sorry" could not read remainder of the sign. Took my Money instantly for the room, but will take 5 days to get it back to me. I had to go to La Quinta down the road.

We had a family member die. I left to be able to get to work in the AM since I was not yet needed. Made the reservation with no problem. No one was there to let me in the Motel. I had to go to La Quinta down the block to get a room.

The hotel staff were nice and accomodating and the room was clean with all the right amenities. I was shut in from the snow and needed a place to crash for a few days to remain closer to my job and [...]offered a better deal than the compensated percentage I would have received from my company alone.

This was a good inexpensive hotel. The location to my business destination was excellent. The rooms were a bit shabby, and my TV remote didn't work, but they were clean and comfortable. If I was staying more than 1 night I would have taken advantage of the kitchen, but I didn't need it for my stay.

I reserved a deluxe studio-king room. When I arrived I was told they didn't have a king room, in fact the clerk said there were only 4 king rooms in the entire hotel. Instead they had a queen room. OK, I figured no big deal. The knobs on the drawers were broken and missing, the wallpaper was torn and dirty. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet was so close to the sink that when you sat on the toilet the toilet paper roll that was mounted on the side of the vanity, hit your shoulder. Because I got a fairly good deal on rate, and because I was only staying for one night, it was OK. I would never stay there again, and would probably have even checked out and moved to a different hotel if I had planned to stay longer.
