Needing a revamp
The hotel is in need of a revamp, wall paper in passages is dirty. Furniture in rooms is scratched and peeling. Taps and toilets are leeky and need some effort to get them closed. Cleaners don't clean under tables and I was welcomed with a bag of garbage outside of my room which was left there for 4 hours before someone removed it

This hotel was not good.
We went to the gym and all the equipment was gone except for 2 pieces that were wrapped in plastic. You could not open the sliding doors to access the balcony. And, there were no informations that there is a $15 daily parking charge for your vehicles. The restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner even though the sign said so.

Location
The Hotel is close to great places such as Aquarium, coca cola world and centenium park. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. I wish the exercise room was available and they would offer opportunity to buy movies. The TVs are old and uggly with poor quality. The price was just right.

Mold
Mold on bath ceiling
This room had mold on the ceiling in the shower room. We where charged $15.00 per day for parking and there wasn't suppose to be any charge and during the day they where selling parking spaces for $5.00 per day. I left the hotel 2 days early and reserved another room at a different hotel.

Great deal if you need to be downtown.
The place was fine. Quite run down (as you'd expect at the price point), but the location is fantastic and I didn't have any serious problems. I was a bit hesitant after seeing a few online reviews mentioning cockroaches and/or bedbugs. It wouldn't surprise me (given the climate and age of the place) if such reports were true in some cases, but I was there for five nights and never saw so much as a fly indoors. The only real complaint I'd have is that the wireless was slow enough to be almost useless. I got a good signal, but the bandwidth just seemed to be weak and/or overloaded. I've never been happy with the wireless connection in any hotel, so I can't say the situation here is particularly worse than average, but it's one thing I'd encourage them to work on. If you need a good internet connection and you have a tethering option with your cell phone, I'd recommend that you have that ready.

Short walk from hotel
The Peachtree Center MARTA station is only a couple of blocks away, so it's very convenient to get around town from here. In particular I used MARTA to get to and from the airport, and it was quite easy even with light luggage. There may be a hotel shuttle as well, but I never looked into that.

Great price and location
Price and location would be the 2 best attributes of this hotel. The rooms could use some serious renovating but they were clean. The staff was nice and helpful. Parking was OK for being in downtown Atlanta. Overall it was average, nothing special. Within walking distance of several attractions which is always a plus.

We traveled to Atlanta to see NCAA tournament games at the Georgia Dome (about a mile from hotel). It was really nice to be within walking distance because stadium parking can be difficult.
