Good people, needs some updating
Lobby and restaurant pretty good, but the room needed some care; carpet dirty, walls kinda dirty and beat up. Maybe a fresh coat of paint would help. The bathroom and other rooms were orderly and cleaned, but still it felt banged up for being a Marriott. Otherwise, the hotel staff and the place was inviting.

Exellent Hotel
The room was small but elegant and large enough to be comfortable. The hotel staff were absolutely great! The location is central to downtown attractions and close to the public train station at PeachTree Center. The price was outstanding and included free breakfast buffet.

Short walk from hotel
Take the MARTA from the airport to PeachTree Center and then a short walk to the Hotel for $2.50 one way. Sure beats a cab or shuttle price and is an easy comfortable ride.

The hotel itself was great with friendly staff and knowledgable about the area. (My first time in Atlanta) The drawback was the only parking was valet at $28 per day. I would have rather spent the money on a hotel closer to the airport.

nice hotel, comfortable rooms, nice staff. hotel however is beginning to shows signs of wear and tear on its facilities. very convenient to all that is downtown atlanta

location makes it worth it
I won't go into too much detail here, but I feel like folks need to understand that these beds are not up to snuff. Tried both beds in the room, and there are lumps and sags all over both. Otherwise, though, the fitness center is adequate if you're just interested in cardio, and the location is quite good.

good middle-range hotel
Comfy bed, clean, friendly staff. I wanted free wifi, but they felt they had to nickel and dime me for it. Also too bad about the pool being closed for the season. All else good.

Everything was superb. Location, location,location!!! Could not have been better. Also, first time we ever got a call about our return flight home---how nice and unexpected. We had premium restaurants within 3 block walking distance, which was awesome. The food was great and it was so nice to be near our hotel.

Convenient for Downtown Tour
It is over rated at 4 stars. It's more a 2.5 to 3 stars. The hot water pressure is low. Convenient though in going around the downtown area since it's a walking distance away.
