Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway

Room Tv was not working, fan was load. It was convenient to the airport for late travel. Food was OK a little over priced. Would stay here again if came in late.

No microwaves at all... The room refrigeratior was too small.. No jaccuzzi.. the car garage gate was not working properly for the whole stay.. we had to keep calling for help to get in and out.. had to pay extra for internet service.. Hamburgers were 15.00. but it was real nice looking.!!!

Super Service with an excellant staff crew. Connected by transit rail within minutes of Hartsfield Jackson Airport and adjacent to the Georgia International Convention Center Delight in a convenient Atlanta hotel near the airport and in close proximity to the convention center and downtown attractions. This Marriott Hotel is located less than two miles from the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.

When I made the reservation 4 months ago, I asked for a double bed room. I was speechless when I checked in and I was told there was only kind bed available. The front desk was not willing to do any accomodation. Until lete afternoon when I spoke to a manager or Service mager he said he would do someting. They swend us an air matress. That was an unpleasant and disrespectful experinece as well. There were a lot of cases like mine. Also, for more than 700 guets, they only had 1 microwave available. I do nor recommend Marriot to anyone and I will not do business with them agai. There was no customer service satisfaction.

I paid a lot of money for this hotel because I was tired from many delays in my business travel. When I arrived to my hotel room, neither the phone or the t.v. were working properly and the front desk personnel were extremely lackluster in their concern or attempts to help.

We had a great stay at the Atlanta Gateway Marriott. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Room service & buffet were good and comparable in price. 5 minute walk to the convention center and airport skytrain. If we are visiting the convention center again, we will stay at this hotel.

We traveled to Atlanta for the NFC playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers. The hotel was new, clean and full of smiling faces ready to service our every need. They even kept the resturaunt open after the late game for guests returning from the game. Rooms were great! I will be traveling to Atlanta on a more regular basis and I will definately stay here in the future.

Good location for flights into and out of ATL. Easy to get to via the sky train. First stop. Nice clean room. No where close to eat at other than the hotel itself or the airport. Overall a good place to spend the night at if you are stuck at ATL.

I found the hotel attractive and comfortable. The staff was nice and the room rate was incredibly reasonable for the caliber of room. I slept well and the location was quite convenient .

Although not near any attractions or restaurants, this hotel is in a perfect location for a quick in & out trip from the airport. I felt as if I was entering the USS Enterprise when I walked into the lobby. Spacious, high ceilings and contemporary, sleek décor welcomes guests with dark woods, glass, stunning waterfall feature, leather ottomans and modern chairs. It is very refreshing in contrast to the usual dismal, tired and dated hotel interior décor. This hotel has gone the hi-tech level in many areas; the hi-speed elevators that speak to you and rooms that are QUIET! They have wisely put in triple pane windows which virtually blocks out all sound and soundproofed the walls, so you never hear your room neighbors. The rooms beautiful décor, elegant contemporary are furnished with large desks with ample outlet plugs, large LCD flat screen TV, two phones and a small refrigerator in the coffee bar nook. The bathrooms are still true Marriott style unfortunately... Whoever designs these has no clue or concern about enlarging the bathroom so that it is functional as many other hotel chains have figured out. Fairly tight, so your knees hit the door when on the commode and you must close the bathroom door when getting in or out of the tub. Decent sized countertop + shelves for toiletry cases. Staff is very nice and helpful; maybe because the hotel was only 3 weeks old when I stayed. I was disappointed to see room service trays strewn along the hallways for most of my quick stay as that is a pet peeve of mine. If you charge an exorbitant amount for room service along with a delivery charge, then HIRE enough staff to continually sweep the hallways for old trays. Makes my stay less enjoyable looking at dishes of old food each time I walk to and fro my room. Get with it Marriott!! *** Also, bring your own alcohol as Marriott meters the alcohol they serve to the drop plus they charge a high price to boot.
