So! So!

The hotel is rather unique with its decor. I don't think this hotel is designed for older people, but rather young folks. The rooms were small including the restroom. Because our room description was executive room, we expected the room to be larger, but the room was rather small. The room was not meant for a business person because their was no desk not chair to perform work. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and nice television. for some people, this hotel would probably be sufficient; but for us,we were disappointed.

Artmore Hotel - Atlanta

The rooms at the hotel were nice and clean. We checked in at 11pm on wednesday only to find out that our king bed room was overbooked, even though i was holding the room confirmation email. We were moved to a loft room that had not been renovated, it was nice but only okay and not what we had reserved. They remedied this the following day in got us in the correct room type. They have a great complimentary breakfast every day, not just muffins and toast but bacon, eggs, and other hot foods. There is however no room service for food, except for the appetizers that are served at the bar at night. No big deal as there are plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. My biggest problem is that their courtyard, their main area to sit and relax, had work being done on the fountain. Now, i understand working during the day, but these guys worked until after 9PM each night on thursday and friday and until about 3 on saturday. We were able to sit down in the cortyard on the last day of our vacation which was Saturday. And finally if you want a quite room you should ask for something on the courtyard side. we were situated on the outside of the building next to a fairly busy street. Throughout the night we could hear honking and sirens. No big deal, but it is worth a mention. All said and done, it was a nice and clean hotel with just a few bumps along the way.

Good Value but Not 4 Star

The hotel is located in a converted apartment building. The Art Deco Deco is nice but the rooms and hallways feel dark. The bathroom is too small. Nice try at creating a art deco boutique hotel experience. But its not the best quality. Good Value but not 4 Stars.

good stay... service was just ok

everyday i was getting different red bag breakfast, and lesser and lesser each day... that was the confusing part. When asked got a curt response that the previous day must have been a mistake...

worked fine

very attentive staff, but tiny bar and no restaurant is weak spot. rooms comfortable, little bathrooms but fixed up nicely. 100 yards from marta so it's easy to get around....and half mile to the mall and crescent street so you can have some restaurants....but nothing convenient like within a couple of blocks.

Great location; average hotel

Artmore is at the perfect location in Midtown to get anywhere in Atlanta fast, but I found the hotel very average. They nickel and dime for everything ($2 for make-it-yourself coffee in room; hugely overpriced drinks in the bar downstairs), bed was uncomfortable and the suites have weirdly slanted ceilings you're sure to bang your head on, parking fees are ridiculous -- there's a lot one block south much cheaper. Overall, utterly average on balance.

atlanta business trip

I was in town for market. The staff was friendly. The room claimed to be recently renovated. The lobby and courtyard were beautiful! However,my room was not as pictured on the website. Not updated at all. The room was spacious with a kitchenette but not even a coffee maker. I found this strange. Late every night the courtyard got very loud. This lasted til 3 am both nights I was there (Saturday and Sunday). I also had left my toothbrush at home. When I called the front desk, they did not have any. There is also not a convenience store or drugstore in walking distance. The hotel did not have matches either. I had a pleasant stay, but I wouldn't say this is a 4 star hotel. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't had been led to believe it was so "rock star".

Nice location, lacking service

Location was great. We went to the woodruff art center for the Come Fly With Me play which was great. Hotel staff was severly lacking. We paid top dollar for parking and weren't offered valet service. The garage was dirty, dark, trashy, wet and very small. There was a begger outside asking for money and cigerettes so I notified the staff who basically blew me off and did nothing about the begger. We paid through orbitz and the hotel charged my card for the room anyway. It took a week for them to refund the money and they acted like I was an idiot.

NOT FOR ME

THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL, IS THE DECOR. IT APPEARS QUITE CHARMING FROM THE OUTSIDE HOWEVER THE ROOMS ARE JUST STANDARD. THE TOILET RAN ALL NIGHT AND THE SHOWER EXPLODED WHEN I TURNED IT ON. THEY CHARGE FOR PARKING WHEN YOU CAN CLEARLY PARK YOUR OWN CAR BEHIND THE HOTEL. THE FRONT DESK PERSON ASKED ME IF WE WERE STAYING OVERNIGHT. WE HAD JUST CHECKED IN AT 5PM. I WAS LIKE NO WE JUST CAME HERE FOR AND HOUR THEN WERE LEAVING. SAME PERSON TOLD US ABOUT BREAKFAST, GOT UP THE NEXT MORNING TO FIND OUT WE WERE NOT REGISTERED FOR BREAKFAST. SORRY CAN'T RECOMMEND THESE MORONS. HAVE HAD MUCH BETTER.

Charged me more than I was priced.

Hotel is in an alright part of downtown. Room was kinda of small but clean and nice. My biggest problem was being charged for valet service I didn't use. Also I checked my credit card and I was charged more than was stated on the hotel bill by $30. I would only go back there if I really had too.
