Pleased in more than one way
great experience
It was exactly as the pictures as shown, not at all misleading. The staff was genuinely nice and considerate. The rooms were very nice and clean. We even stayed in a smoking room because of the cheaper rate and it didn't smell at all. Spacious, comfortable, more than pleased with overall experience. Would highly reccommend and will make a point to return next time.

Why would you want to pay more?
I was staying at the Wingate while participating in an antiques show. The days were long and tiring, not to mention I was suffering from change of time zone fatigue. The room and wonderful(!!) bed were just what I needed to relax and get a good night's sleep. The breakfast offerings were many in number - hot or cold - and quite good. I got everything I could have asked for. The one negative (and, this may be beyond hotel control) is that on the night I was the most tired, someone's child ran down the hall squealing several times. It awakened me and prevented my returning to sound sleep for some time.

Excellent Hotel
Although the price was excellent, the most notable feature for us was the friendliness of the front desk staff. They were impressive! We liked the wireless internet combined with easy access to the business center. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety. The only item we didn't like was a weird alarm clock that we could only turn off by unplugging the complicated thing.

Great location and great price
My best friend and I had a girls weekend and we decided to stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and very clean. We wanted to shop and this was a great location. A great mall and shopping area was only minutes away. Also, north ga premium outlet mall was only 30 minutes away. We also wanted to ride the monorail to the ga dome. We were only 10 minutes away from the station and the parking was free. We had an awesome weekend and it was so great to have a comfortable, safe place to come back to to rest. The only small problem we encountered was that the ice maker did not work on our floor(3rd floor). But ice was on the 4th. The free breakfast was great also. The staff was exceptional and friendly and answered all our many questions. I highly recommend.

Nice room
Visited Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. The ex-girlfriend and I went to the aquarium, and world of coke. It was about a 20 minute drive from the hotel. The only complaint about the room was that it had a mild musty, damp, odor to it. No big deal for staying three nights. There is no pool at this hotel. What hotel doesn't have a pool? The staff was friendly and I got the room that I requested, even though we were a late arrival. Three nights cost us $160.00. This was a great deal for a holiday weekend considering there were two college football games in town plus there was also a NASCAR race going on that weekend.

Great Value for the Price!
This was a quiet comfortable stay even though I was traveling about for most of each day.The staff was very friendly and accommodating.The hotel is located near restaurants,shopping centers,gas stations,and highways.

A restaurant named The Counter was very expensive.A couple could spend as much as $30.00 for two hamburgers with a drink and fries.You could pay even more for a larger size hamburger!
