We travel all the time and now we realize we need to stay at mainstream places to be sure of cleanliness and safety, i have never seen bars on a frontdesk reception area,unless the security is poor. That was scary. The carpets in the hall were filthy and ripped,and under our bed waqs never vacuumed in months. I would not eat there for anything.

Sleepless night
The hotle is old. the walls, doors,windows, and floor are old. The air conditioning unit was very noisy, I was not able to sleep. the matress was old an not comfortable.the pillow and covers were not cotton. The room was not clean because of the old furniture and carpet, and the walls that were covered with wall paper. the receptionist was standing behind a glass window at the front counter, like in Banks. And I had to sign two security forms. After I checked in, I went to look for another hotel but all were booked because of the convention. My night was sleepless.

My review of Regency Inn Albany
The hotel was not very clean. It was also noisy at night due to the club next door.
