So Glad I picked this place

I was very worried when booking this hotel with all the mixed reviews. The room was absolutely beautiful and plenty of room for five of us. There were some stains here and there but the room was definitely clean otherwise. The only thing I was worried about is that there is no Wi-Fi but the front desk gave us an Ethernet cable to hook my laptop up to. It was very close to all the places we wanted to go but still secluded enough to have privacy and to not hear the traffic. I will definitely be coming back to this place next time I visit Orlando. So worth the price!!!

Great for large groups but...

There weren't enough towels or soap in the room. The cutlery was flimsy and there wasn't any dish soap to wash the dishes with.

Palisades Resort

The hotel was fine. You definitely get plenty of room for your buck. Although you can see that the room was cleaned, the stained carpets take away from that. Not to mention lipstick on the comforter. The Toilet seat was broken but they did fix it pretty quick. Overall an ok place to stay.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

One tip that I would like to mention is the location does set you up to escape traffic to Disney by going the back entrance.

Quick Weekend Vacation

The hotel was originally condos are were renovated to be a resort. It is great for family and large groups and provides great comfort. There is no housekeeping. You have your own washer and dryer to wash your towels and whatever else you may need to wash. Other than that the hotel is pretty great. It is in a location where you think you are going no where but the hotel is actually there and down the road there are inexpensive dining places that aren't has crowded as the ones on International Drive in Orlando. Its really comfortable. A home away from home basically.

Inexpensive and it isn't crowded as other places in Orlando that are main tourist dining places.

Needs Attention

This Resort could be nice with a little TLC. The location is great for the parks and surrounding area. Key cards for door did not work well. We had to make several trips to front desk to get in our unit. Garden tub didn't work but they fixed it when we requested repair. Carpets were very dirty. On the possitive side it was a great value for a two bedroom. Maybe the disrepair is a management issue.

Perfect for family travel

Great for the money. The room was huge. Most people could live there pretty comfortably. Close to all the parks without all the traffic. Room keys were touchy, and need to be updated, but pulling the key out at an upward angle solved the problem. Beds were comfy, but I probably could have slept on concrete after walking around Disney all day. Carpets were stained, but white socks stayed clean walking around the room, so the floors were clean. Bath tub and shower had a faint bleached smell. Bottom line: it was like staying in a large lived in condo, but everything was clean. If you want to stay somewhere that gives you the impression you're the only person to have ever stayed there: keep shopping.

Never Again!

There was a big stain on my cover that clearly looks like white creamy stuffs. Every time we went out always a struggle to go back in the room, they have issues with their keys, talked to other guest we were not the only one having problems with our keys, at one point the battery on our key door died, we have to wait a good 20mns outside, we end up been late for our event. The TVs in the room doesn't work, the living room area works, but stop working every 5mns. We stayed there for soccer tournament, all you want to do after playing is go to your room, relax and watch TV. The stove in the kitchen didn't work. The soap provided was so cheap. That's was the worst hotel for me. Never Again!

Fantastic Room

The beds were a little uncomfortable but for only $88 a night and basically getting a home away from home I can't complain too much. Staff that I dealt with was great. Rooms were huge! Not as close to Disney World as I would have like and they don't offer a shuttle either. Overall great place to stay. Will go again.
