La Quinta Inn West Palm Beach City Place

This laQuinta has got to be the oldest I ever stayed in. It should be knocked down and built with new La Quinta design. Too good a location in West Palm Beach for such an old property.

Have stayed at this hotel chain in other aeas, and was already familiar with the amenities. Some are a little more updated than others. It's just a temporary, last minute place to crash, that's clean and comfortable. Not bad if you're in a sticky situation and need to get away from jerks who try to destroy you, just because they think they can. It's also not a bad deal either, which is why I stayed. Would like to see the complimentary breakfast extended by an hour. Staff does a decent job of accomodating your needs, which I don't have many. Beds are comfortable for a hotel like this, and you can request cleaning services as you need them. Overall, not bad. Just wish they would llower the price a little for what it is/

Needed something that wasn't too pricey, due to my hardships and unfortunate situation. Also, I had to stay here to get away from hurricane Irene, so had to go somewhere where it was further northwest, petfriendly, and economical. Staff overall is great. The rooms are basic, clean, and somewhat updated. Has all the necessities.

This hotel is a bargain, for the price, you cant beat it. But ! if you can spare the extra bucks, pass it up. The room needed much repair and updating. Two of the lights didn't work, the toilet ran continuously when it wasn't clogged, low water pressure in shower, and the hairdryer broke the morning of checkout. Also in general, the room was a bit dusty, and even the window needed a cleaning. On the upside, the staff was the friendliest ive encountered, and there is an excellent breakfast served in the lobby. So, its a bargain, and would probably stay here again in a pinch. but if you have the extra cash to spend, stay somewhere else, trust me!

I was only there one night and left 4 hours before check-out so I cant say anything great except that Codi the front desk girl was very polite.

Clean nice room

This is a very decent, basic hotel. It's a good bargain. The room was clean and well stocked. Three pillows per bed was a bonus. The mattresses are excellent, as well. I was impressed, actually, with the staff and the security. The lady at the front desk was wonderful, and answered all my questions with patience. Late one night, I stood on the balcony watching the traffic. I saw the security guard making his rounds, going around all 4 floors on the outside. I appreciate that. The hotel is in a decent location for travelers. It's about 2 minutes from the Florida Turnpike and there's a mall within 5 miles. The wifi was easy to connect to and had decent speed, as well. Bonus: There's a Chick-Fil-A right across the street! My only complaint was the office chair that was provided. It was outrageously stained. I used two towels rather than sit on those stains. Would it kill the management to steam clean the furniture once in a while?

Even though I only stayed 1 night, this place was aweful. Once I got to the room I was able to relax somewhat, once past the not-so-helpful lobby attendant (forgot to call me a cab), the fraternity kids up all night loitering on the balconies, and then finally the prostitute that was checking in at 4:30am (I was checking out!)
