We chose this hotel because we wanted to be in Venice itself, fairly near the beach and also relatives. I'll be glad to stay here again. It's located close enough to main roads and easy driving to beaches; you could bike or walk there but it's
more than a few blocks. While it isn't a new building or very updated, it was comfortable and clean. The beds were high but comfortable, and there's both AC and a ceiling fan. There's a good sized mini-fridge which we used, and a TV and microwave which we did not use. There is no carpeting, which is convenient in a beach area, but it would've been nice to have a foot rug by the beds. The bath is not very updated but was clean and fine. We found the staff to be very helpful, generous with extra towels and roll-away bed when we requested them, and very friendly. It's not a large hotel so it felt more warm and welcoming.
A highlight of the inn is that each room has French doors that open to an inner courtyard, and it was bigger and nicer than the photos I'd seen online. Outside each room's doors are chairs for relaxing, and the courtyard includes a nice pool, ping-pong and a few other games. It's a very pleasant setting, and was quiet even during the spring break weekend. The inn also has a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating; it looked nice but unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use it. Laundry facilities were also available, and a grocery store close by. Your parking space is right in front of your door, and everything is on one level.
I was here with my teens and we all enjoyed it. If you prefer the typical modern hotel style room this may not be for you, but we enjoyed the location and atmosphere of this inn, and would come again.

Local friends took us to Sharky's restaurant on the beach (Harbor Dr. I think). It was crowded when we went so we had to wait a while, but the seafood was great, and it's right on the beach. We enjoyed watching the sunset while we ate. It isn't cheap, but the food's great and so is the staff. The next morning we went back just to play on the beach and pier, and enjoyed the peaceful morning there.
