Downtown luxury overlooking Tampa Bay
Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel is a landmark on the water, featuring 27 stories of rooms and suites overlooking Tampa Bay. The hotel incorporates cutting-edge technology with a lively and elegant atmosphere through a recently completed renovation of key public areas which includes upgrades to the onsite restaurants, lobby and outside patio. The hotel is a striking silhouette along the Channel Riverwalk in the heart of downtown near Ybor City. Visiting a family member at Tampa General Hospital
This hotel is the closest (20-minute walk or 10-minute cab ride) to Tampa General Hospital. The hotel accomodations were excellent; my only complaint is that the wi-fi Internet access was not free. There are places to eat both in the hotel and nearby; a city trolley stop is in front of the hotel. Cab fare to or from the airport is a flat $25.00. I didn't have time to use all of the available amenities, such as the pool and fitness room. I will be staying there again in the near future.

Location perfect for convention center
Not a great hotel. Staff was nice and helpful, but otherwise very basic. Room was not totally clean, bathrooms need work. Location great if you need to be a the convention center. Walking distance.

Still Looking For Paradise
Nice location.
Noisy means outisde traffic noise, not inside hotel noise. I was disappointed that the hotel did not offer bathrobes in the room. I think that would be a nice touch since they bathrobe is offered for sale in their catalog that they display on the bed. Also, a very poor selection in TV channels to choose from when settling down for the night. They need more variety.

Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina
There was no book provided about hotel services. I had to call the concierge to find out where the fitness center and business center were located. I was told that the hotel was updating its information and the concierge asked me to ask her any question I had about the hotel. Otherwise it was clean, luxurious and quiet. I would call them first-class but they don't provide services beyond what the average good hotel does.

Great Hotel
Great stay here and also got a great deal booking through orbits. The hotel is really nice it's in downtown so my friends and I caught the trolley to Ybor city and Channelside to enjoy the city. We were a few miles from most attractions but the beach is a little far but worth the 20 minute drive. The pool was gorgeous at any part of the day and if you like to drink there are 3 bars in the lobby excluding the restaurants. I would suggest this hotel to anyone staying in Tampa!!

GOOD: beautiful hotel. great service. excellent location. relaxing. fantastic pool...with a bar! BAD: expensive food. charging fees for wireless internet.
