Downtown luxury overlooking Tampa Bay
Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel is a landmark on the water, featuring 27 stories of rooms and suites overlooking Tampa Bay. Guy's bowl game getaway
The hotel is conviently located just a short way from the restaurants on south Howard and had a sports bar and restaurant in the hotel that was the best I have ever personally seen in a hotel. Great stay.

We enjoyed that we could walk or take the trolley to other venues. The lighting in the Champion bar could be dimmed quite a bit - felt tooo bright. parking was pricry but they were kind and efficient about it. Pool was VERY clean and pleasent as well as the workout room.

Awesome convenience
Went for a concert at the St. Pete Times Forum, which is across the street, the convention center is also across the street. The hotel was beautiful, clean, very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, courteous, helpful, and respectful.

Lightning Fan
Worth it for hockey
We stayed at this hotel strictly because it is literally steps from the St. Pete Times Forum. It was a beautiful place overlooking the water with lots of awesome stuff surrounding it. The only problem was, as a hockey fan, I wasn't used to valet parking and INCESSANT TIPPING of people who perform menial tasks without you asking. So if you're prepared for that, I recommend this hotel 100%. (PS - don't get excited about the rooms, they're as standard as they come.)

Girls Getaway
My girlfriend and I went to Tampa for a concert. Neither of us had ever been there before, so we were winging it. The Waterside hotel was great. The staff told us where to go for food, fun and shopping. Everywhere we ended up was wonderful. The hotel was really clean and nice and the location doesn't get any better. You can take a short cab ride to anywhere, but there is also the trolley for $5/day and it's right across the street from the hotel! Perfect!!!

Really relaxing
I thought the hotel was great. The valet service was efficient. When you first walk in you are greeted and directed to the check-in. The room was clean with the exception of one spot on the white comforter. However, having white comforters is nice because you can really tell they are clean. The elevators move pretty fast, which is nice. The pool, bar and spa are all kept beautifully.
