"Great game stay"

Flew into town with my son for the football game. Was picked up at the airport and was dropped off at the game, no charge. ... Free breakfast was suprisingly good and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice with all the amenities we needed. Not the Waldorf-Astoria but a very nice stay. Only negative for me was the loud air conditioner but I slept pretty well anyway. Motel itself was quiet. Fix that and I would give it a 5 out of 5.

Much needed visit

I made a last-minute trip to Tampa to see a relative with terminal cancer. The hotel was very comfortable and close to my ... relative's home. I was surprised how clean and comfortable the hotel was since I got such a bargain! The free continental breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever eaten--warm eggs and sausage, waffles, etc. We all said that we would stay in this hotel again on our next trip.

The staff at the front desk at check-in were very helpful. The room was spotless and quite comfortable. The shuttle driver on ... my way to the airport was asked me what airlines I was traveling with he knew what gate I would be leaving from, plus he was very friendly. Overall I would have rate my stay the best of all the hotels I have stayed with.

As always, the Marriott has excellent service. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet made starting our day easy with a ... satisfying meal. The pool at hot tub were a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Complimentary internet access was also useful.

Wife and I were dropping our daughter off at U of Tampa. Spent the week running around the area shopping and attending ... universty functions. The hotel was slightly out of the way but in that we were able to get to know the area a bit better than we would of had if we had stayed elsewhere. Driving the area from the hotel to shopping sites, eateries, entertainment venues was much easier than expected. Overall just what we expected

We went to Tampa for a specific event. Our plane got in earlier than normal check-in times, but they let us check in early. ... The complimetary shuttle service is first-class and provided by a limousine service, who drives their van. You just have to let them know to schedule it. Their sign says 12 hrs in advance, but we were able to change the time for pickup to go back to the airport without that much notice. Complimentary breakfast was adequate in variety, and good food (continental style). Rooms were clean and at least the floor we stayed on had just recently been remodeled (you could still smell that "new carpet" smell). Everything stated was in the room (tv-nice 21 in flat screen, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Bed was very confortable. Most hotel/motel beds are not... thanks for a great stay. We woulddefinitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff was really nice. We had a broken refrigerator when we got there. It was replaced within the hour. The location is ... between two Malls, with us all being girls it made all of the difference. Because Tampa had heavy rain during our trip we stayed at the hotel more than we had planned. The stay was comfortable.

Decent hotel. They were in the middle of some upgrades during my stay. Rooms have free high speed internet and free wi-fi in ... the lobby. Good continental breakfast that includes a waffle maker, oatmeal and egg, cheese and sausage sandwich. Convience food and beverage items also available for purchase. Friendly staff and easy check in and check out. Good location close to the airport.

This hotel was perfect for our visit to Tampa for our daughter's graduation from The Univ. of Tampa. Perfect location, ... spotless rooms, delicious breakfast...we couldn't have asked for a better hotel to serve our needs during the graduation weekend. We recommend this hotel to ANYONE who is visiting the Univ. of Tampa. This was the second time that we have stayed here and we are so happy to be back!

Housekeeping service was prompt an complete. Hotel was clean and modern. Location was convenient to both airport and downtown ... Tampa. Easy access to freeways for daytrips. I never heard an airplane even though airport is close by.

Very convenient location to shopping and dining. Our flight got in early and it was no problem checking in early. The ... staff was very friendly, we had purchased some tee shirts to bring back home and the maid had inadvertently thought they were trash. (I dropped them next to the traschcan in a bag). They had someone check the dumpster to try and find them, called the housekeeper on her day off and were willing to pay for the replacements. Prior to departure they found them on the housekeepers cart.
