Sailport Waterfront Suites

Check in went well to include having our room changed to have a better view of the bay. Staff was friendly and fast to take care of any request. Only negative point was the two clubs on the causeway being loud until 2-3am Friday and Saturday night. Will stay again if the opportunity arises.

The trip and stay was great, the rooms are beautiful! The pool, view, rooms, was excellent!!! What I didn't like, that housekeeping only come every three days! I brought my two kids and kids can be messy. When you need extra towels or new bed sheets, you have to ask for it and make the bed yourself. Overall everything was a great experience! The full kitchen is really nice, the balcony is comfortable and free wifi and free parking. Brittney from the front desk, is a great help! She helped us reserve the reservation and she gave us a excellent room! Thank you brittney for being so helpful, she is also well mannered.

The Sailport Waterfront Suites was a perfect stop for an overnight stay before an early flight home. The staff was effective, the room was spacious and clean and the location was first rate.

We stayed here for a quick overnight before heading to the Tampa airport. It was convenient to the airport and the staff was friendly. If you are expecting a traditional hotel... not the place for you. We arrived at 11pm and stayed until 6:30 the next morning to catch a flight. It took about 20 minutes of driving around the complex to find the check-in located on the 2 floor in the center of the complex and we only found it after getting another guest to help us.

Prior to booking, I read some negative reviews. Don't judge of ONE person's bad experience. The hotel was phenomenal! It even rained every day I was there and I still enjoyed myself. The room had everything I could have possibly needed from home, I even had a dish washer! DVD player allowed me do to my workouts with the view of the ocean next to me! The place was pleasantly clean, I couldn't complain. The staff was SO friendly and courteous. I was there 2 nights and they recognized who I was and what room I was in without even me telling. TWO areas to enjoy the sun! One with sand and one without. PERFECT for me as I don't like to get sandy but love to get tanned. There was a pool too. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!

The hotel was in a good location, close to restaurants, the airport, and 20 minutes from the beach. Plenty of parking, nice pool but not very big, wide open halls and very nice laundry room right on our floor. I would give the exterior and location 4 stars. The inside was OK, with flat screen TVs and modern kitchen. The only problem, like other reviews mention, was the pull out bed from the couch. It needs to be thrown away. The mattress has been compacted over the years to 1/2 of padding and you can feel all the springs. I had to use the cushions from the couch to prop the bed from underneath since the springs sag in the middle. The balcony was nice with view to the bay. It is also nice that they clean the rooms every 3 days, a plus for a condo. I would give the inside of the room a 2 due to the bad mattress on the pull out bed and several roaches that we found around the bathroom and kitchen.

First, your credit card is charged $20 per night to cover incurred costs (since there are no mini bars it is hard to know what those costs could be); it can take weeks to recoup these extraneous charges. Second, I stayed here 2 nights and housekeeping never cleaned my room, even after I spoke with the front desk about it. But these experiences, while annoying, paled in comparison to this: on my second night in the room, the front desk called my room after 11pm and claimed their computer had wiped out their records and needed my credit card info again. I told them I was reluctant to give out info over the phone but they were insistent. I told them I would give them my info -- which included the full credit card number and security code -- in the morning when I checked out, but they said it had to be done then. It really sounded like a complete scam and I politely and firmly told them I would not be giving out the info at 11 at night over the phone; I hung up. In the morning, there was not another word about it. I had never experienced what really felt like a scam before, certainly not at a hotel that was otherwise "respectable." If you really have to stay here, watch your back!

WOW!!! View, View, View. Beautiful deck furniture. Clean grounds. Large room. A great value.

The hotel was in a good location near the airport and had a view of the bay. The sunset beach area was pretty and relaxing. The staff was polite and provided a sheet with directions to restaurants and attractions in the area. The room was large and included a large flat screen TV in the living room; microwave, full-sized fridge and sink in the kitchen; and another TV in the separate bedroom. The towels and toiletries were the only thing I didn't really like.

Hotel was fine . Room was nice size with great view.pool was fun. Hotel in a business area you need car to get to tourist areas . Free shuttle to close areas ok. All in all its a good value
