dirty and discusting
We checked in and did not even stay. When we got to the room there was a tiny room with a double bed. Very tight quarters. Carpets in hall were dirty. There were no sheets or pillows for pull out sofa. Mattress was discusting. Checked in and out wihtin 15 minutes. Very bad experience.

Not up to our expectations
Sailport Waterfront Suites did not have adequate elevator space for the number of persons to be using it. The facility was being renovated and we shared the small elevator with workmen and had a long wait each time we used it. Since we are elderly and on the 4th floor, we felt inconvenienced. The rail on the balcony was loose, and the carpet very worn and was the room was small. the view was marvelous and he employees very helpful. we endured and enjoyed our stay due to the beauty of the area and the marvelous restaurants in the area.

Good location, price but tired
Good price but hotel is definitely tired and in need of updating. Shuttle was helpful when available. Most of the staff was helpful with a couple of exceptions.

Room for 3
Fabulous location, right on the bay. Nice outside amenities, including fishing dock (and poles) vollyball court, grills on the beach, gas fire pit. The rooms were OK, a little long in the tooth. The room sleeps 6, (1 queen, 2 bunks and a sofabed) but towels only for 2 and no linens for the sofabed. Also, no ladder for the tip bunk. so you better be agile.

Doesn't really sleep 6
Wonderful location, but sleeping accomodations are stretched...no linen for sofabed, no ladder for bunk. OK for 2 adults and 2 kids...avoid the sofabed!

MAN WITH RESERVE
VACATION
The hotel was overbooked to a point that instead of giving two separate rooms (as we booked ahead of time), the two families of us has to stayed in one suite with two rooms. The pull out bed should have been scrapped five years ago. They are absolutely not suitable for human to sleep on.

Loved the view!!
Was on a vacation to relax, the pool was very nice and had plenty of chaises to relax on. The view was wonderful, could watch the sunset without having to travel. The kitchen had everything you needed and it was great to have it, saved money and time! I thought the bed was very comfortable but the couch was a bit on the small side. I thought Sailport was a great place to stay and a reasonable price for all the amenities, I would stay there again!

Long walk from hotel
I really liked Landry's which is down the road but still a long walk. Another place we had fun at was Bahama Breeze, great place for dinner or night life.

Nice Location!!
The hotel is older but very clean. Our toaster did not work, but reported it and we were brought a new one within minutes. Everyone has a view of the water surrounding the hotel. Did not like the fact that you couldn't walk near the shore, but they didn't advertise that you could. The staff was very friendly. We were minutes from the airport, which was great when you arrive and when you are leaving. Shopping and great restaurants of all price ranges were very close. Would stay again. The price was right.
