Hotel for business people
Breakfast was good. Rooms are not very clean. Well located. I found the bar fantastic, I would recommend the hotel just for its nice and pleasant bar. Overall it's worth the price

Excellent for passing by
Just what I needed for my layover flight to Dallas. Shuttle service to and from the airport was perfect ontime. Good Bar/Grill restaurant just down the lobby.

Very Comfortable bed, close to airport convience.
It is no palace but the bed is comfortable. The noise level was high and lighting was quite poor. It was nice to have the morning buffet option.

The Italian food in the area was outstanding. Rigatoni's on Kennedy was exceptional.

Convenient to Tampa Airport
Best advantage was convenient to Airport after late arrival. Comfortable and clean. Morning breakfast was average but just fine. And the price was right.

The hotel leaves much to be desired ! The TV's are outdated and a limited selection of channels . The toilet seat was broken and every day I had trouble getting into the room because the card swipe was faulty . That necessitated several trips to the desk from the 5th floor.

Location is worth the dated rooms
Westshore is close to the airport and centrally located. The Deluxe Rooms are updated with flat screen TVs, microwaves & refrigerators, but the countertops, tile and tubs are still old and dated. Free wi-fi and breakfast and low prices make it a good deal.

Stayed two nights. Room was old smelled of mildew and carpet looked real dirty. I'd spend more $ and stay in a better place next time.

Dirty,outdated room
The door handle was defective and had to be slammed hard to work. The carpet was filthy. The clothes hangers were all broken. The old,blurry TV wouldn't stop rolling. The food was lousy,and the maintenance man who had to show us how to open the broken door was rude.

The lobby is gorgeous, the staff were extremely courteous and professional, the breakfast was right on point and having the Hurricane Sports Bar & Grill attached was a definite plus! The rooms have definitely been renovated, so it was not bad , but I would recommend them to remove the rugs.
