It could not have been better

It was great. The staff was fantastic. We had an emergency at the end of our trip and we had to extend our trip one day and ... the hotel worked out a great one day rate. This location was great for family members to see us as well as for us to see all the sites around Tampa, ST Pete, and even Orlando. Thank you very much.

The hotel was good, but the front desk fails to notify you of any charges such as early check in which came as a surprise. ... They offer Busch Gardens tickets but will not tell you the price unless you ask. I stayed there for 4 nights and the maid service was poor. The bed sheets were never changed and only once the towels were changed out. Also on the 4th day the maid NEVER came!

Used the pool several days - very restful Hotel shuttle was excellent and drop off / pick up was timely. Room was perfect ... size for my family needs and walk in closet was great for storage / organizing. Never been at hotel with such large storage area. Kitchen cleaning supplies such as dish soap, sponge and linens would have been helpful.

We had a little trouble with our tv in our room but after we called up and they offered to switch our room. The 2nd room we ... moved to was even better than the first very clean very quiet. Front desk was great & maid service was very nice, did great job cleaning and anytime we needed anything they were at our door in no time. amazing hotel

"OK" if you like old

would not recommend this one. Room was on ground level, no view and next to a/c units outside. Very noisy. Also, occupants ... above us had little tots running back and forth sometimes 3 or 4 in the morning. Staff did not accomodate us with another room saying there were none available. Staff was not very friendly and didn't seem to care!

It isn't the most comfortable or updated, but you get alot of space for the money. And a full kitchen/apartment for a long ... stay. But very basic. AND NO ELEVATORS! PACK LIGHT!

My review of Mainsail All Suites Hotel

Cannot host an event !!!!! The room we stayed in was right next to the highway, so it sounded like the traffic was coming ... straight through the door....We were told all members of our basketball team would be in the same location.....was not...separated in 5 different locations!! Had washcloths once while we were their.....had to use hand towels to wash our faces!!!!! Had 1 pan to use in the kitchen (8in. omelette pan, that should have been thrown out with the trash). Very disappointed with our stay, especially since we stayed their last year and recommended it to others to stay this year !!!!!! Of course they couldn't do anything about stuff because we were told it was 100% occupied.

For two couples weekend trip, this hotel was everything we need. We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom suite (large bathrooms, ... walk-in closets, full kitchen, semi private deck). It was truly a home away from home. The grounds were well kept and had ampable parking. Close to: Tampa Airport, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, and Hard Rock Cafe casino.

Great deal for the money

The Mainsail Suites in Tampa was very accommodating to us. We arrived much earlier than the 4:00 check in (12 noon) and were ... able to check in since the room was clean. We felt very safe as you needed to use your key to get into the gated area where the complex was. We especially liked the spacious accommodations, two bathrooms and cleanliness of our suite. The staff was very helpful when we had any questions and everyone was polite and friendly. It was conveniently located right near or close to several highways as well as a variety of places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone that we know who might be considering staying in Tampa.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were on ... opposite ends which worked out well. The full kitchen was just what was needed. The front desk staff could have been a little more helpful and friendlier.

There are many strip malls, restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel. There are numerous attractions that are within 30 minutes of the hotel. If you are not familiar with the area, take directions to and from the hotel. It is easy to go in the wrong direction.
