Located eight miles southeast of downtown with easy access to I-75, the La Quinta Inn Tampa Brandon West is just minutes from the best area attractions, including Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, and the Lowry Park Zoo. Convenient location with a reasonable price. An older hotel with modest level amenities, this hotel was clean and had an ... excellent daytime desk staff person. The sound proofing between rooms isn't good and even worse through the hallways. Otherwises, no issues.

This hotel was not upto the mark. They were unable to figure out which Laquinta we booked and we have to travel back to ... another location for our room.I didnt saw any housekeeping done and my room was untidy when i came back from my outing. I had to experience one of the nosiest AC ever (With no cooling effect!)

Overall, the experience was great. Only complaint is that the hallways smelled musty & stale (like there had been a flood & ... hallway rugs not cleaned enough. Other than that, we we VERY satisfied with the service & condition of the room. I DO want to say that the "Continental Breakfast" area was OUTSTANDING!The selection of choices for breakfast was FANTASTIC & the attendants did an EXCELLANT job of making sure that there was PLENTY of EVERYTHING available. All personnel were VERY friendly & helpful whenever WE had a question about ANY subject. I would be VERY happy to stay at this facility again in the future!

We got there late on a Wednesday night. Bed was extremely comfortable and was a king size. Impressed with the desk and ... swivel chair that reclined. High speed internet worked right away. The breakfast was very good, with a good selection.

Service was excellent. I had understood when I booked that a microwave & refrigerator were included in the room. (I asked ... for a two-bed room) When we arrived, there was neither. I went to front desk and told them we were planning of these because we would be in the hotel a lot and planned to fix lunches there. These items were brought to our room within 30 minutes. Large Continental Breakfast was wonderful.

The room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Check-in was easy despite my late arrival and the area is very safe ... and the highway and all of Brandon's restaurants and shopping are easily accessible from it's location. There is even a Bob Evans next door where you can have a great breakfast.

Bob Evans is right next door to the hotel and if you're looking for a big breakfast or even a nice lunch that will not break the bank, it's the perfect spot. Try the spinach chicken salad.

We were looking for personal real estate while we were there, and the location was excellent for that. Easy access to I-75 ... and roads into Tampa or wherever you might want to go. The value was good if you are looking for a servicable and clean motel with a breakfast buffet with cereal, juice, coffee, waffles. We did not hear noise from any other rooms. Wireless internet and comfortable bed. Food, shopping, etc. is all nearby. The negatives: the pool is outside and not very private, and there is no fitness center at all. The room had too much furniture for the size and it was heavy, so we could not move one of the only two chairs to watch the tv. TV channel selection wasn't great. They don't seem to notice if something in the room needs repair (like a towel rack or a bathroom fan) so be sure to fill out the form they have in the room or it will not get fixed.
