Nice clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Stayed twice so far and happy to use again as a stopover at the airport. Courtesy bus will take you to any nearby destination and good variety for breakfast.

Great Location
This hotel was close to everything. Just 2 minutes from the airport. A few minutes from the Raymond James Stadium and there was a fantastic mall right around the corner. I have stayed at the Hyatt Place in Wisconsin, Washington, and Ohio. This one is not as new as the other ones, but it was still a great hotel for the price.

Will stay here again
We were pleased with this hotel. The staff was pleasant and always helpful. The room was of ample size, clean and comfortable with a separate living room area. It is conveniently close to the interstate, two malls, the airport and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

Fun in the sun
The food at the hotel was terrible. How do you mess up a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? The kitchen area was very dirty. Dirty dishes and food from the continental breakfast were still on the counters when we ordered dinner. The staff actually handed us our evening meal by reaching over the dirty dishes. The room was nice, but the food was awful!

Good Stay
This is a good stay place for most folks...handicapped are not accommodated unless in a wheelchair...need shower stools. This system used to acquire this review is not friendly nor impressive! WST

Hyatt Place in Tampa
It is a very nice Hotel It is dated but the up keep is very good. Some minor details need attention but nothing that detracts from the comfort or safety of the stay. The room was comfortable and spacious. My wife is very picky about where she will stay put she had no complaints here. I would definitely stay here next time and I would recommend it to family and friends. This hotel is easy to find and located near Tampa International. It is very close the the International Plaza which is a VERY big Mall. There are many resturaunts in the area as well as a variety of other shopping locations.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
The Intenational Plaza is very close to this location and offers a wide varity of shopping and dining options. You can spend an entire day shopping and eating here and still not see everything. Of course it is not cheap but it is an experience you will remember.
