Close to everything!
Close to everything, including the casino, easy access. We didn't know that the lobby was undergoing a full renovation, was a mess. The toilet was broken but they sent someone right away to fix it. The room was nice and clean but very noisy, you could hear the conversations in the other rooms, there where adjoining doors to a room on each side of ours which may be why you could hear everything. The breakfast buffet looked ok, we are gluten free so didn't eat there.

I was put in a smoking room when I requested non smoking and I believe this was due to non smoking rooms not avilable; as well as [...]did not alert me that there was not any non smoking rooms. If I would have know that it was smoking I would have booked elsewhere.

Poor Grounds but nice service
We checked in and the room was over 100 degrees as they had 'fan only' on. The lady said that is what they do. We then had no wireless access so they had to move our room to something closer to a router. We were preparing for trial 9we are attorneys) so moving 18 large boxes twice was not helpful. They had no one to help us to that. The front staff person was literately the only person at the entire hotel. Does not seem safe

GREAT STAY!!!!
This was a great trip! We stayed for a concert got ready in the room, relaxed, very quiet atmosphere, and got a great nights rest.

Right across the street from Ford Amphitheater where great concerts are played. Prime location if you don't want to drive home after a long day of being in the sun and enjoying live music. :)

Good for the money, close to the Hard Rock Casino. The Shower rod was instaled incorectly in our room so the curtain would not stay closed, but other than that great room.

Wonderful Anniversary (47) Getaway!
The Hotel is a great location for East Tampa attractions. We saw Body Works at MOSI, the Lowry Park Zoo, Hard Rock Casino and Ybor City. $10 cab service to the Casino.

very friendly, very helpful,
The hotel hoilday inn express was very clean, good size room,desk and chair,kingsize bed, very comfortable,soft chair and stool,very easy to get anywhere in Tampafrom this location,very close to the Hard Rock casino which had excellant food. The hotel was very nice and the people went out of their to help you,very nice would stay there again if we return to Tampa again
