Days Inn Tampa/ West of Busch Gardens

Enjoyed Busch Gardens - Hotel stay for sleeping only - It was fine for that but nothing special except low price

This hotel, while close to Busch Gardens, is in very bad shape. I would not advise anyone to stay here for any length of time.

motel is old musky smelling and very outdated it is 30 yrs old would not recommend

Room had not been cleaned well in a long time - lots of dust and cobwebs, hair that wasn't ours in the tub and cockroaches. We booked through a third party and were unable to get our money refunded when we cancelled our reservation after the first day. All in all a bad experience and we like this chain.

They needs to remove this place from it's site as it reflects badly on them to even be booking such a filthy cesspool of a motel.Too bad no stars isn't an option. This room was so filthy that I couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep at night. The carpet had urine on it,the bathroom had a permanent feces smell to it,nothing was dusted,the floor was only vacuumed on the walking paths-every single corner,around the walls and furniture and under the beds was CAKED with filth like they hadn't been touched by a vac in at least a year. Also I had to pull a huge disgusting hairball from the bathtub drain because it was backing up and the tub had a layer of very thick mildew in the corners. The fitted sheet on my hard as a rock back killing bed was even upside down which was the least of the problems but it further shows the lack of caring or even trying by their obviously lazy housekeeping. I took pics that I would like to send to Days Inn corporate to let them know how unacceptably bad this one is being run. I booked this place because it is so close to Busch Gardens and being a Days Inn I made the mistake of thinking "well how bad can it be?" BIG mistake! If a room at this dump was offered to us for free I would NEVER stay here again. I refused to walk around barefoot because of how incredibly gross the room was. I cannot emphasize enough how third world this place is. DON'T STAY HERE. IT ISN'T WORTH THE STAPH INFECTION!!!!!!

cigarette burns in the bed spread, water stains, mildew and filth in both chairs, bed super hard and lumpy, internet half works and super slow, ripped up carpet, etc. the list goes on and on...never again!!!!

Good stay. towels did not seam verey clean lots of heair on them I hop that was not a bad joke.This was my second stay and that was the second time I got towels with alot of heair in them I am a red head and the towels had black heair on them I shook the towel off over the tub and about 30 heairs or more fell out this was the second time I stayed there and this is the second time this happend two me.I relly like the location for I am from the FL. Keys and down here it's all about location location location.I will be going back to that hotel again soon if this happens to me again I will not stay there every again.I will stay at a different hotel and be couse of the location it might be a different hotel chain or company!!!

Hotel was perfect. Only stayed one night in order to go to howl o scream at busch gardens.. hotel is about a mile to the entrance. Price was perfect. :)

You get what you pay for. This place is easy on the budget but not on the eyes or ears. The doors were missing screws and one was even missing wood. The light switches didn't work and the smoke detector was a hole in the wall with wires hanging out. The thin walls allowed us to hear how the guy two doors down was going to beat his "worthless girlfriend". All in all, if you want a relaxing place to stay while visiting Busch Gardens, find somewhere else to stay!

Not fancy, but clean and very close to our destination. Within walking distance of Busch Gardens, you can see the rides from the hotel.
