Convenient!
I was not looking for anything fancy for a one night stay. But this place beat my expectations. In all my hotel room was perfect. The check in and check out was quick and convenient. The breakfast was great. Our room was clean, no problems.There's so many stores you can think of just cross from each other. I would definitely stay here again for our next visit.

The good and the bad.
The maid left the room door open after she completed her tasks, did not leave soap nor bath mat. Front desk took 30 minutes to bring soap . Someone left the front door open a second time the same day. Hotel room was small but clean. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Great and really pet friendly!
Very fast check in. It looks like they give some rooms for the customers with pets. Very well located as they were just besides the back parking lot, making it very convinient and easy for walking the dog. They didn't charge anything for my dog (even though the hotel info in the web says it's 25 per nigth per pet).

Good time for the price
We had been planning to go to Busch Gardens for the longest time and finally did it. Staying at the Clarion was comfortable and affordable. It was an added bonus that they had a hot breakfast bar every morning along with shuttle service to the park. The staff was very nice about picking us up from the park when we called. The only downside was that we were charged, or at least were told, that it would be extra because we wanted a non smoking room. The final bill was actually less than what was quoted on Orbitz. I would have thought that a non smoking room would be the standard, but overall I would stay here again. The location was great, there were plenty of restaraunts around and the mall was right up the street. We had a good time.

Traveler with dog
Worked for Us!
We made these reservations on the spur of the moment to drive down to Tampa. The great thing is they accept pets (we have a dog). Arrived at about 9:00 at night so was unable to see much of the hotel, but the lobby was clean and the staff we helpful and polite. The front entrance driveway was super crowded as was the front parking lot, there is a "Fridays" bar in the end of the complex and it had alot of traffic coming and going. You can tell the hotel is older, but it is nicely updated with trendy paint and fabrics in the rooms. Rooms are the standard size with small bathroom. The next morning we saw that pool area was beautiful and it had a great kids section. Would have liked to stay longer, but only stayed the one night. Breakfast was good, plenty of food and pleasant atmosphere. The best thing was no pet fee and no hassle.

Great family amenities
Great hotel for the price. The location is perfect....across the street from the mall, 2 miles from Busch Gardens, 1 mile from the Imax. Couldnt have picked a better hotel. The pool area was awesome!!

good value
this was a good value for the money. its in a good neighborhood, i felt safe. the room was clean and free of mold smell. it was also quiet. parking was a little disappointing but other than that it was great. we plan on staying there again when we are in the tamp area.
