Find elegance on a budget with loads of freebies
For comfort on shoestring, the Wingate by Wyndham Tallahassee / FSU appeals to both business and leisure travelers in the Tallahassee area. Downtown attractions like the capitol and universities are just four miles away. The hotel also offers many free amenities, such as free hot continental breakfast, free manager's reception Monday through Thursday, free wired and wireless Internet, free local calls and a free 24-hour business center. An on-site fitness center and whirlpool, heated outdoor pool and guest laundry also add appeal.

New Year getaway
The room was great as well as the front desk staff. However, the housekeeping staff left something to be desired. It took the housekeeper on our floor all morning to clean 5 rooms, and by the time we got back to our room, it still had not been cleaned. This was early afternoon. So, we just decided to forego fresh linens. Other than that, it was a great place!

The room was clean and the staff friendly. It was homecomming weekend and despite being very busy the rooms were cleaned promptly.

FSU Parents Weekend
This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. It is close to the college, reasonably priced, and located near many restaurants. The staff is the reason we come back. They are polite, helpful, and generally happy all of the time. We requested a quiet room and got exactly what we asked for. Slept well and enjoyed the Friday night happy hour, it was a nice surprise.

Very Satisfied
The hotel was near FSU campus which made the drive to my daughter's graduation much easier. My family enjoyed the remarkable choices available during continental breakfast. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, more so than some I have paid the same price for.

Hotel was average.Rooms contained 2 queen beds (very soft mattresses), old tube TV, desk, coffee maker, fridge.Nothing extraordinary but nothing bad.

Wingate in Tally
Good hotel, have stayed at various places in Tally, Wyngate so far is the best for the price. Nothing super - but clean, good beds - the breakfast could be a bit better (square folded eggs?) but it was hot, and a little bit of everything. Overall a good stay.

Great location,clean and comfortable.
We loved the hotel location. We felt that we were in a neighborhood,but only minutes from Florida State and other area points of interest. The breakfast was adequate. Both the lobby area and the room were attractively decorated. The beds were really comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
