Good basic accomodations

I got what I paid for. It was all I needed for a short overnight stay. I was pleased with the number of cable channels. Shower was hot with very good pressure. If you're picky about beds, this might not be for you.

Needs to be torn down

Would not recommend Tue, May 7, 2013
We did not stay here. It looks like a crack house. If the dogs had been with us, I would not have put them on the floor. The carpet was so dirty, you couldn't tell what color it was. The ceiling was coming down. There was no closet-just a rack on the wall. There were people sitting on the stair well with their belongings.

One night stay in Tallahassee, FL leads to hard work

Would not recommend Mon, May 6, 2013
My wife certainly has a lot more to say than I do, and I suspect her motivation level is high enough to do just that. Travellers visiting Tallahassee need to avoid this hotel completely. The travel agency had three places we could book for a one night stay on May. 4, 2013. We booked the room in advance. I'd never stayed in a this hotel chain and never stayed in this particular hotel. One of the three hotels was already filled up leaving 2 possibilities, one for $300 and this hotel for $157. Since it was only one night, I opted for the $157 room, which is three times what they could possibly charge for these accommodations. I did not anticipate how bad this place could be. The rooms are only accessible from a hallway and stairs. The hallway smelled of smoke. My wife has severe allergies so I have always needed a non-smoking room. The carpet was dirty. The ceiling in the room had a place along the wall where the plaster had peeled away. A rack for clothes substituted for a closet. A young man and his girlfriend/wife were sitting on the stairs apparently trying to book a room over his cell phone for $50. Available hotel rooms were quite limited, but I was able to get a late cancel at a hotel down the street for about the same amount. I returned the keys to the desk shortly after 6:00 pm and checked out citing my wife's allergies and the smoke. (I checked in around 5:00) This room will not do even in a pinch, like when the college football team is playing a home game. My wife said she'd sleep on the floor of our son's house, before staying in this place. We sought a refund and were unsurprised when the manager's 'final decision' was no refund. This agency runs the risk of damaging their own business by offering this hotel as an option for even the desperate traveler. This hotel needs to be razed or a building inspection immediately conducted.

Avoid this hotel

Would not recommend Mon, Sep 19, 2011
The hotel was dirty, with soiled sheets and towels. The shower was moldy and the room smelled like mildew. We had to buy a blanket and clean pillow to sleep on. The hotel should be shut down permanently. It is an embarrassment to Tallahassee and to Orbitz.

Avoid this hotel

I would give a negative rating, if possible. I am a frequent traveler and stay in Tallahassee on most home game weekends. This hotel is an embarrassment to Tallahassee. It was dirty, stained bedding and towels, and moldy shower. The room smelled like mold. The hotel must have been aware of the problem, because they provided a bottle of febreze in the room. We were afraid to sleep on the bed and went and bought a blanket to put down on the bed. When we removed the soiled sheets, the bed appeared to have blood stains on it. Overall, this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and should be shut-down permanently.
