Motel 6 Tallahassee Downtown

It is what it is. Passable, clean enough. Basic bed, tv, and shower, if you need want more, go elsewhere.

Wonderful, affordable stay and great location. Stay was peaceful and fun

Sheets were dirty. No wash towels and the ac/ heater made a loud crunching noise that would not go away. Would have rather slept outside in a warm sleeping bag.

After reading the previous reviews I expected a dump but I was surprised. [...] Towels and linen were clean. Everything worked. No problems or complaints as I knew I wasn't staying at a marquee name but with the game weekend the selections were limited. Would recommend again.

Hotel was clean and close to downtown. The bad is they did not clean room after first night.

on my 2 day stay and looking for a last minute hotel, this room suited me just fine, I am neither high maintainence or bougie so as long as the hotel was clean I was pleased.. the only issue I had which is understandible was no iron, but the dest assiciate explained that was an amenity they cut to reserve cheap rates... my reservation was easy and to the point and the staff was cordial.

on arrival, the room had a musky order to it. And the bed linen was not cleaned properly. There were bed bugs on the linen. And my heater did not work either. The stay could have been much better. I hope things will have changed by my next visit. Mrs. June Perkins-Thomas

WE GOT THERE FOR A 2:00 CHECK IN AT 2:15 AND WERE TOLD TO COME BACK AT 3:30,WHICH WAS IMPOSSIBLE SINCE WE HAD TO BE AT MY SONS WEDDING AT 4. WE GAVE THEM AND HOUR AND CAME BACK TO BE TOLD IT WOULD BE AFTER 4. JUST AS WE WERE GETTING READY TO LEAVE AND PRAY WE COULD FIND ANOTHER ROOM SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY GOT A CALL AND WERE TOLD A ROOM WAS CLEAN AND WE COULD HAVE IT. WE TOOK IT AND IT WAS AWFUL, A HUGE SQUARE PATCH AT THE BOTTOM OF ONE BED WHERE THERE WAS NO CARPET, ONLY CEMENT. THERE WAS A SMELL IN THE ROOM AND THE FLOORS FELT WET, THERE WAS AN EXPOSED WIRE OVER THE MIRROR IN THE BATHROOM. THE TV PLUG KEPT FALLING OUT OF THE WALL MAKING THE TV TURN OFF. THERE WAS A 2 INCH GAP UNDER THE DOOR WHERE YOU COULD SEE DAYLIGHT. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. WHEN WE CHECKED OUT THEY HAD CHARGED A WI FI CHARGE TO OUR ROOM, WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A COMPUTER WITH UT.

It was a pleasant experience, clean room, friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, only thing that was a surprise and bit inconvenient there are no irons in the rooms or in the entire motel for that matter. Having some irons available at cust. request might be a good thing, there are no compact refrigerators like most hotels I am used to staying so going out for ice twice a day was a bit of a bother. But overall it was a good stay, was one of the cheapest for the time we stayed, although I'm not ok with the concept of price and demand in this case you can get the same room for less than half the price when it's not graduation time. I'ts the same room with same commodities why should I pay more , when in reality it's the time the place its most occupated, if one cannot sell batteries or water at higher price in hurricaine season , how is this any different. Parents are stressed out of money already by all expensens incurred by graduation, souns like I'm being taken advantage, due to present nessecity. I would probably stay here again if need be but that is totally besides point being made here. Perfect example after graduation we went to orlando much fancier hotel, manny more commodities almost half the price at motel 6 . I care not to comment like other people I heard at motel 6 like thinnes of the pillows , lack of extra towels in the roons or tiny television set, I think these are petty things , petty minds will always complain about, maybe they have not traveled abroad and had to use outer toilets, limited water and electricity and no A/C.

The room was not very clean. German cockroaches were pretty bold. Staff was very friendly. Swimming pool was nice. Great location, good rates, although the rate was higher than the [...] quote.
