Great Stop Off
The hotel was great for our early flight the next morning. Location was great. It was close to the airport but also close to various dining establishments and shopping. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall the price was great and the accommodations were very good. Missed the breakfast due to the early flight but will certainly return to this hotel in the future.

Great place!
The La Quinta was wonderful, clean, and had everything that we needed for a very reasonable price. Booking through Orbitz made the entire process simple and seamless, and all of my time was spent enjoying the vacation!

The Florida State Caverns are only an hour away, and Wakulla Springs and St. Marks Wildlife Refuge can be reached in about 20 minutes. Definitely a great central location for local attractions.

good location, good price
room key (card) did not work properly on back door, person in room next to ours also had trouble. worked perfectly on room door. Breakfast bar was very good, did not have the usual waffle maker, lots of rolls, cereal, bagels, bread and waffles for the toaster

Even though it was best price we could find the cost was almost double from the last time we were there several months ago. We visited our daughter while we were there. I don't understand why but the last two times we have been at this hotel we have gotten handicapped rooms. We will consider this hotel again if the price continues to be lower that those around them.

Very family and pet friendly
La Quinta Tallahassee South has a very friendly, homelike atmosphere. The dog walk area is fenced and large enough for the dogs to actually meander around, also, much to my surprise, it was clean and picked up with a trash can available for patrons to discard their doggy bags. The pool was clean, and the area was picked up early in the morning. The breakfast was fresh and sufficient for anyone who did not want to go next door to the restaurant. The employees were courteous and all of them had smiles for the guests. All in all a very nice experience. The room itself was large, had a large table with 2 chairs, a closet with a suitcase stand & doors, a large vanity and a separate shower/bathtub/toilet area which was very convenient. A gas station was across the street and many restaurants were within walking distance.

In need of renovations...
Clean but stains on the ceilings, you got the old feeling of the room. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but was comfortable and for two nights not bad at all.

Now I Lay me Down
The LaQuinta Hotel' was a wonder to stay at,with all the space you can ask for. I really enjoyed my stay,up until i went to bed.The pillows suck--flat and unsleepable....
