Budget Tallahassee hotel convenient to mall, movies and FSU

Just what I was looking for...
Went to Tallahassee for the FSU Homecoming game. Needed a room not far out in the sticks. This was extremely affordable for a special event weekend. The room was big enough for 5 people comfortably --- we brought our own air mattress. Showers were strong and powerful, and it's located in a great area. I recommend this to anyone.

FSU game stay
Game Stay
Stayed at La Quinta Inn Tallahassee South for FSU game. Location to campus not bad. Front desk was not able to accomodate us with 2 rooms next to each other as we purchased though a 3rd party. Rooms were clean but smelled like mold and the bed, towels were terrible. The price was average but would not stay again.

Convenient location, clean room
It was just a quick overnight stay, but the room was clean, the property conveniently located and the stay pleasant and helpful. Good value.

COLLEGE VISIT
The hotel overall was clean and comfortable. Two specific complaints are: 1. the bathroom was filthy. Dirty towels left on the floor, bathtub lined with body and soap scum like someone had just taken a bath and drained the tub, half used bottles of soaps and shampoos left , toilet paper almost gone. 2. the desk manager was much less than hospitable, on the phone and in person. It was as if we were intruding on her personal time when she had to deal with us, both when I called and when we arrived and checked out.

Just what we needed
Clean, pleasant staff and very comfortable beds. Would have appreciated having a small refrigerator in the room for stuff we had. Staff very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay there again!

Great Tallahassee Location
Great location and price is you need to be in the center of Tallahassee or close to FSU. We ended up staying a second night and they gave us the Orbitz price for the next night. Nice pool and property.

Hotel was very nice and clean we enjoyed our stay. Think the breakfeast could have been a little bit better. The room was very clean and neat.Would stay at that hotel again

FSU mom
quiet and clean
My daughter and I went to Tallahassee for her FSU orientation. We found the hotel to be clean and quiet. As two women traveling we found it to be very safe and well lit. Our room was off a main road and did not have alot of traffic going by it. It overlooked the pool which was very nice. It is not a luxurious hotel but it is a good value for the money. We would definitely stay here again.

Pretty good for the cost!
This place was very clean and quiet. This hotel is also on one of the main roads and is in a safe area. The only drawback was that the decor was from nineties. Great value!
