Downtown convenience and comfort, plus Jacob's on the Plaza
Doubletree Hotel Tallahassee is conveniently located in downtown Tallahassee and within walking distance of the capital, Florida Supreme Court, museums and more. Both FSU and Florida A&M are also a short drive away. Go-to Tallahassee Hote
This hotel always does such a great job! They have free shuttles to the airport and you can't forget the amazing cookies! Great value for the money!

The bad and ugly
The 5th floor where we stayed hallway was musty and had a urine smell in hallway . Carpet was soiled and stained. The airconditioning vents had a bad odor. The room was not cleaned early enough three days the maid was in room while we were dressing for dinner. the staff was pleasant and friendly. We expected better downtown capital city of Fla. We were there for a high school reunion

Great hotel! Even better deal!
This was a great hotel. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I only stayed here one night, but I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint is that they don't have a convenience store in the hotel. They have a small snack bar in the lobby. However, it doesn't sell milk to go along with the delicious complimentary cookie you receive at check-in. I would definitely stay here again!

Mellow Mushroom is an amazing restaurant about 5 minutes away from the hotel that specializes in pizza. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great, casual dining spot!

Tallahassee Doubletree
I stayed at the hotel for a business meeting. The music in the hallway was really loud and distracted our meeting the first day. The second day, the did turn it down after we asked. My guestroom was clean, but missing condiments to make morning coffee more enjoyable. The restaurant, Jacob's, really lacks in service and food quality. The wait staff is extremely slow and needs training in waiting tables speedily; the host/hostess seating is non-existant. All three times I ate at the restaurant, I waited for over 5 minutes without seeing a staff member greet me. When someone did walk by, they would just look at me and go on with what they were doing. The food was overpriced for the quality, but the portions are large. Other than that, the hotel was nice, clean, and the guest services desk attendants were very helpful.
