would definately return!
We were able to check in very early with no issues, which was good because our flight was early morning. The staff was so nice, every person we came across was extremely polite. Our room was very clean, but the closet door was broken, not a big deal. Our room was on the second floor next to a conference room and 2 public bathrooms which i wish the front desk would have told us because there was some noise at all hours with people using the bathrooms. The cabanas and pools were awesome. Plenty of noodles and inflatable loungers for pool use. some people have complained about the 25 dollar fee each day, but its worth it. you get parking, cabana use, ect. Hotel was a great value, had only the minor issues i already listed. I would definately return to this hotel in the future.

She wants to go back
Two night stay as part of five day Tampa trip. We had a misunderstanding about our checkout time so they upgraded us to a nicer room with sitting area and small kitchen. Very clean. The first night our air conditioning was not working properly and the room temperature reached 80 degrees. The next day we brought the issue to the front desk personnel attention and they promptly arranged for repair of the problem. The room was on third floor overlooking the adult pool. We were awakened Friday night at 12:30am , 3:30am ; 430am and 6:00am by vocal adults. The pool should have been closed at midnight to solve this issue. The second night we were more used to the noise or used ear plugs and there was no attempt to quiet adults swimming after midnight. We were not awakened as many times but still noisy at 1am. Saturday breakfast I went to pool side cafe. About half way thru my meal Gerda sprayed the table behind me with a chemical cleaning fluid that drifted onto my back and the right side of my face and my food. I complained as she did not realize what she had done. She comped my breakfast. The pools and beach were clean. The parking lot was easy to use. The indoor outdoor carpet on the lanais should be replaced. The staff was attentive and responsive. The grounds were well maintained. Several weddings and events were going on and everyone seemed to be enjoying the resort. Good location with access to other activities and restaurants.I give it 3 stars due to personnel being responsive to offset problems cited. She gives it 4 stars because of room cleanliness.

Theres a Publix down the block and we were able to bring food into our hotel room along with adult beverages...the average price of a drink is $9 at the resorts bars..which were delicious but this helped a bit.

Spring Training Getaway
This was our 3rd time staying staying at the Tradewinds Sandiper and once again it was a very enjoyable experience. The rooms are nice, the beach is beautiful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. My husband enjoyed taking part in the bar tour and receiving a complimentary t-shirt. We like the location, good central location for spring training baseball games, but not over run with spring breakers as compared to Clearwater .Be sure to check out Pass a Grille ten minutes down the road, quaint little town.
