At the end of a long day in the Florida sun, a hammock is the best seat in the house.

  • Exclusive golf privileges less than five miles away at an 18-hole Championship golf course

Great location and relaxing getaway

Great location on a beautiful beach. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. However, we were located near the 8th floor conference room and it was noisy at night due to wedding receptions.

The Good and the Bad

This was a very pretty and clean hotel, the location was great. However.. The TV's were blocked from allowing you to hook up a gaming system or watch your own DVD. We also brought our lap top to work on, to my suprise there was no free wifi the cost was $9.99 per day. Parking! What a joke this was..Orbitz did advise there was a daily parking fee of $10, okay no problem. However I discovered while at the hotel bar if you came to visit the hotel and purchased a drink or food from the bar your parking fee was waived and you paid nothing. Well.. this free parking with the purchase of food or drink was not available if you were staying a the hotel. Some petty things to just be aware of.

Sirata Beach Resort

Daily beach cabana rentals cost $15 and rentals are supposed to last until 5:00pm during the week, but staff were reclaiming these starting at 4:40pm daily. They are very inflexible when it comes to asking for an hour or two late check-out, especially if its on a day near the weekend. They seem to be more concerned with their weekend business (when the rooms are filled) than with those traveling during the week. We also had leaking ceiling tiles, which were replaced only to need replacing again when we left.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Crabby Bill's is just a short walk south of the resort, and you can get to it from the beach. Great food and atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Great on beach, family spot

Just got home from vacationand was so refreshed. Our hotel was on the beach and had plenty of activities to keep our family busy. I enjoyed the fitness facility and so did my husband. I believe this is one of the better hotels on Gulf BLvd. I will go back

Many to choose from, our favorite breakfast was at Beverly's, and favorite dinner spot was Jino's Italian. Fast food favorite was Chik-fil-a.

Sunsets over the gulf of Mexico

for the money, the location was great. The room was a good size and very clean. Just don't get pool side unless you have childen. The place is very large and we were there just a short time, so can't comment on some of the highrise rooms with balconies. There was a great ocean view, but I'm sure they are more expensive. The cabanas are getting a little shabby around the edges, but all in all we had a great time.

Nice Resort

I stayed at Sirata to attend a beach wedding being held there. It was a nice venue, the staff was attentive. I was upgraded to a suite which was very spacious. The street noise was a bit loud if the porch windows were open. This resort is right on the beautiful white sand beach and had a very nice, if busy, pool.

Not much bang for your buck

Was not expecting the 8 dollar a night for parking. It was in the fine print. Nor the 10 dollars a night for internet. For the cost of the hotel I expected alot more
