My review of Sirata Beach Resort

The hotel room was small and bathroom could use updating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We paid for an upgrade to a suite but were put in a small beachfront room.

Affordable place to stay on the beach

The hotel was older and dated but it seems as though the management is trying to keep it nice. The rooms were dated and not plush by any means but for a no frills place to stay on the beach they were adequate. The room we had with a kitchenette didn't have a microwave?????but at least we had to pay $8 per night to park.

Great place for a honeymoon!!!

The Sirata Beach Resort was a great place to go for our honeymoon. The room had a great view of the gulf. We watched the dolphins playing in the gulf each day as we ate our lunch on our balcony. The room was comfortable and clean. The facility was clean and beautifully landscaped. The pool was clean and warm. The gift shop had a variety of nice items, including souveniers. There were good restaurants within walking distance. Walmart was a short drive as was the grocery store. Walgreens and CVS were also within walking distance. September was a GREAT month to go to the gulf! (no crowds) My husband and I are looking forward to returning each year for our wedding anniversary. This was definitely a very special time for both of us!

The italian restaurant, Skitter's is a GREAT place to dine. Their pizza and homemade bread were delicious! The restaurant south of the hotel (Village) was a great place for breakfast. Reasonable and good food.

Satisfied

We spent 2 nights there and all in all we were satisfied. The rooms were dated but appeared clean. Location on the beach was great and our kids loved the pools. Food was actually pretty good. Fine for a family stay.

great place

The Sirata Beach Resort was very comfortable, the room was good with all that we needed. The bathroom was kind of small. The location was very good it was very close to the pool and very close to the beach. The people from the front desk were very nice and kind. It is a beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay there.

Friendly staff, nice rooms

Its a nice hotel, freindly staff. The room is decent size, nice and cozy. The only problem I had was the size of the television...13inches.

Save your money

Worst hotel experience I ever had. First of all, way over priced. Second, the room stank of cleaning solution. I had to sleep with a surgical mask that I bought locally as I am highly allergic. When I bought the rooms smell to the reception desk, they said, sorry, no other room available. Lastly, the staff could have cared less that I was there customer or subject to sickness due to their room. I would only say something positive about the concierge. He was helpful in finding a medical supply store.

Never Again

The room was roomy...that's the only good thing. We were locked out of our room until 2am because the battery in the lock went dead...we were told twice that maintenance was on the way, then more time went by and we called the front desk a third time and were told that maintenance isn't even on the property at night!! Finally got into our room and the next morning noticed that housekeeping took our soap from the shower and didn't leave us a new one so we couldn't wash up...then that night we came back to our room and went to wash up and brush our teeth for bed and guess what...there was NO WATER! unbelievable! We were also told we would be compensated but when we went to check out, the front desk knew nothing about any of the problems we had :-( We will never stay there again...oh and the beach bar closes at 10pm--how stupid is that?

Honeymoon Hideaway

The Sirata Resort was a fantastic place for a perfect honeymoon. The Staff overall was outstanding with exception the gentleman who check us in. The Mangrove Grille was so far below our expectations on food quality that we would never recommend dining there to anyone. However the service was the best we had on the whole stay. Overall stay was two thumbs up! We can't wait to return! The beach and beach staff were absolutely wonderful!
