Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park

Excellent friendly staff

This was a very important trip for my husband and I, because I went to get a Tubal Reversal at Bayfront Hospital, our house is 2.1/2 hours from the hospital, we reserved a double bed room because my sister in law was coming with us to help us after surgery, when we got to the hotel at about 9PM they didn't have abelable the room that I reserve a week ahead thru [...],so they up grade me the room to a "Suite" (suite about same size of a regular room, King bed and sofa bed, bathroom with a Jacuzzy tub and shawer), we tell the resepcion that this room wouldn't work for me after the surgery because I need a bed only for me, and I don't think that a sofa bed was going to be conftable for my husband and his sister, we stay at the suite the 1st nigth and switch in the next morning to the double bed room, I was glad that we did change room because the King matress was harder that the full matress, the rest of the hotel and Luna Restaurant was very nice, even whent we didn't get the nicer view of the hotel. The nigth after the surgery about 3AM a couple start fitting and shutting doors and the guy keep screming bad words like "f" one after another, throwing stuff and making louds noise, that was a real fight,(wasn't like they were having a great loud time), a kid in other room start criying, after one hour they keep discussing, I called resepcion and the front desk told me that they knew about it that it was in the room next to me and they will call them to let them know to calm down, after that wasn't much diferent, someone cut got hurt in that room, I don't think the hotel personal did a good job handling this situation to make everyone have a better nigth. We just want to have a placent time in a nice hotel for this special ocassion and nothing was going to ruin it.

In Tampa for 3 nights on Business. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional and the hotel location is superb in terms of surroundings. The conservation area was fantastic and yes, I saw alligators basking in the sun. The hotel was well placed for my business, 15 minutes from the airport isn't too far especially with the courtesy bus. I could see some thinking it is a bit out of the mainstream, but in my view what it offers is worth being on a business park rather than in a 'hot spot'. All the facilities at the hotel are at least adequate and generally better than that. If I had one critisism, it would be that they could have a better stocked shop, but, they aren't a retail outlet so probably unfair. Not the cheapest place, but I think they deliver value for money.

The people at the hotel were super nice! The hotel and room was very clean and we had a beautiful view. The nature walk was exceptional! The grounds were well kept and clean which made the walk even more pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel

Absolutely flawless. I love the scenery if the lake and balconies to drink coffee in the am. Staff is always great. My family lives in St. Pete so it is very close to visit most of the day but have a relaxing get away all in one!

This is a great cenrtal location to St. Pete, Clearwater, and Tampa. Very nice and clean rooms. Me and my girlfriend though that the boardwalk around the nature park was absolutely fantastic. We saw alligators, fish, and all kinds of birds right out our own back door. The Luna bar has a great new age feel to it along with a wounderful staff. One of the finest all around hotels that I've stayed in.

This was our first stay at a Hilton and was very impressed! We loved having the walking paths to stroll and met other travelers in a relaxed setting during our walks and commented how they enjoyed it as well. The grounds were very nice as well. Our room was perfect with a refrigerator,hair dyer that worked! Plus the iron worked well...lots of hotels have leaky irons. Our King size bed made up with luxury linens made for a great night sleep as we stayed for 4 nights. Location was convenient to restraunts and stores and main roads as well.

Must have a car to travel around. Free shuttle from nearby St Pete airport but we came through Tampa. Just off US 275, no traffic noise at all, convenient for travel to downtown, beaches and Tampa as long as have automobile. Best price for this grade of hotel in the area on that weekend. Would stay again.

We thought the hotel was beautiful and really enjoyed walking around the grounds. It wasn't far from Bright House Field, the spring training home of the Phildelphia Phillies.
