Perfect location on beach

The Gulf Front Suite at the Tradewinds Sandpiper in St. Pete's was very comfy. Bedroom was kind of small, but we didn't care--it had 2 beds, a closet, a nightstand and a TV/armoire. We had a fridge, stovetop, coffeemaker, microwave--even dishes, glasses and silverware! The bathroom was large with a hairdryer, makeup mirror, etc and lots of storage space. The living room had a minibar (which we didn't use), and was a nice size room with a table and 2 chairs, a comfy chair, a sofabed and a coffee table. The sliding glass doors opened wide to a railing right smack on the beach with a perfect sunset view! There was a safe in the closet, too! They had an adults only pool/hottub and also a family pool, too. Resort fee was worth it!!!

The hotel is right on the beach. You walk past the family pool right onto the sand. There was also a hammock and several wooden swings in this area. They include cabanas and water-trykes with the resort fee.

Clean, comfortable and quiet.

The Sandpiper Resort was a great place to stay. It's located in the center of St. Pete Beach and within walking distance to just about anything you want. The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. The gulf view suite had two televisions, a full sized refrigerator in the kitchenette, pull out couch, two double beds and an awesome view of the ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a very well kept property.

The beach is nice and goes as far as you can see. There are breakfast spots just down the boulevard. Snappers, a fancy fish restaurant, is nearby.

GREAT PLACE FOR THE PRICE!!!

The Sandpiper Resort is a perfect place for families with children or couples wishing to soak up the sun on St. Pete Beach. This hotel has two seperate pools one for adults and one for children, which is a nice chage, not to mention the beach is one of the best i have ever been to. The rooms are spatious but a little out-dated, but not that bad. A great hotel for the price. Now that I know about this place you can't keep me away.

A great experience.....

This is a perfect location if you wanna get away and spend a beach weekend! Despite a bargain deal we were given a suite with beach and pool views. Rooms were absolutely clean, with all amenities and the staff was very nice. Its right on the beach and the kabana was included too. The hotel has a nice hot jacuzzi and warm pools. Its just a perfect place for total relaxation without spending too much. We are going again!!!

Awesome location on the beach!

We swam in the adult pool, which was very quiet and peaceful! Many romantic walks on the beach. We walked to many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the sunshine everyday. We would definitely stay here again.
