our annual Florida vacation.

This hotel was GREAT. We would definitely return. Friendly people and staff. The beach was wonderful and the water was warm. Pools were sparkling clean! There were alot of fun things to do for young kids as well. A family pool, movies on the beach roasting marshmallows and making smores. All in all a great experience!

Go to the grocery store down the street and stock your hotel fridge. The restaurants are very pricey! There are full kitchens in the suites.

Excellent location, lackluster hotel

The beach was beautiful - couldn't ask for a better location, but that's definitely what you are paying for. Hotel needs massive updating, both with the accommodations and the staff.

Pleased!

Wonderful experience! Lived in this area all of my life, first beach hotel vacation...room was upgraded from hotel room to suite because wait to check in was 15 minutes longer than it should have been. Only draw back was lack of on-site food options. Food offered was great, but only 1 on-site choice, others on the other Tradewinds Resorts, required walking, and not always conducive with chronic illness. But will do it again, and bring more food!

Plan meals at the other locations if you want more than a "sports bar" dining experience...good food, but not "dining."

Anniversary Trip

The hotel was right on the beach which was wonderful. We loved being able to have a quiet area in the adults only pool/hot tub area. The only con was the parking situation. There were not enough spots open for the amount of people they had staying. But I assume this was due to the new restaurant they are building on the property. Also it was a little unsettling when housekeeping had left our door open after cleaning it. Other than that everything was great.

Eat at 1200 Steakhouse. Wonderful food. But you have to get there early.

Awesome

My stay was awesome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is right on St Pete Beach, so you're just steps away from laying in the sun and swimming on the beautiful beach. The Hotel has two pools, one of which is for adults only, which adds the the relaxing atmosphere. My room was great, very clean and nicely appointed, with an ocean view on one side and pool view on the other. As a guest of Guy Harvey Outpost you also have access to the Tradewinds resort practically next door.
