OLD FASHION CHARM
First let me say that this hotel is not disabled or handicap freindly AT ALL!! I missed something when booking that it is a historic building and therefore exempt. There is no wheel chair access whatsoever. While charming, the older style furnishings and plumbing fixtures are not practical for larger than average size people. My wife had no problems, but it is not for everyone. The location is great, everything including the "Pier" is in walking distance, and they have a little beer and wine happy hour from 5-7 and a nice continetal breakfast in the morning.

Short walk from hotel
As I stated, not for everyone, but the place is clean, your bed choice is either Queen size or 2 twins, again, not for those of above average size!

I was looking for a place that was in walking distance of all the places I was interested in.I didn't want to pay 120 to 150 a night either. It was a very comfortable place and the proprietors where very hospitable.

Great little inn!
The hotel has an antique sort of feel to it. It's very cozy and well kept. We stayed 3 nights and we were very satisfied with the inn. I'd recommend this to others staying in St. Pete, especially if you are looking for an affordable inn.

Great little hotel with warm family charm and homespun ambiance! If you like small, non-chain, quiet, unique places, this is it!! Good location, coffee & such to get your day started. Rooms are not the largest, nor are the features that modern and plentiful, but plenty of basics to make your stay in beautiful St Pete a remembrance!!

Fantastic little spot in St. Pete
While the rooms were small, and older, they were quaint and tidy - very neat, and the family that owns the hotel was incredibly friendly. I'll definitely recommend this little spot to anyone who's looking for a nice couple of nights. Wi-Fi free in room, along with free long distance and local U.S. calls (impressive!) plus our little room had a fridge, a small heater and an a/c. Perfect location, as well, and the price was right!

Quaint, but sweet
We were only staying in St. Petersburg one night, but didn't want to stay somewhere gross. Based on the good reviews, we chose this place. We got there a little early for check-in so we sat outside. We were a little weary about the hotel because the surroundings aren't pretty. There is no nice view, very limited greenery, etc. When we finally entered, we were surprised to find it was like a quaint, sweet bed and breakfast. The staff was very nice...you could tell it was privately owned and run. It gave me a warm feeling that most hotels don't provide. Our room was small and dated, but it was very clean. The bed was very firm, but wasn't so bad that we couldn't sleep (we actually slept about 10 hours that night!) The only other bad thing was the fridge wasn't cold at all even after putting it on the coldest setting. Overall, the value was great and the cleanliness made me feel really comfortable. The Dalí artwork on the hallway walls were an added bonus.

The hallway is lined with Dalí artwork that you don't see in the Museum only a couple of blocks away.
